Mate, I got excited when I saw the revised title of this thread. I was hoping to see pics of a fresh white KE10. I feel ripped off! :jamie: Hehe...... I guess I have to wait a bit longer but I reckon this is gonna be one awesome car. As for the sponsorship, I have never been a fan of that stuff on cars..... however, it means you can make the car a bit more fun.... and..... at least red and white will suit well with the car. Either way...... I can't wait to see the end result of this car.

Spotted an orange KE20 on Peacock Rd. between South Tce and Greenhill Rd. Was about 11:45 this morning and had stockies with hubcaps and a P Plate. Looked pretty neat.

Nah pretty sure that isn't it. Doesn't look to be that nicely finished off and those wheels and pinstriping don't ring a bell. Mind you everytime I see these cars they are flying.

Gotta agree with benzo, 20 looks sweet Mitch. As for the plate, try to get SLO-020 and then you and I should do a photo shoot. :) Actually I think SLO-020 is taken already

Slightly off topic but I keep seeing two TA22 Celica's chasing each other around the Edwardstown area. One is a steely blue colour and the other is real dark perhaps black. They are both quick, but the black one is super freakin quick. It's turb'd and sounds great. The blue one sounds unreal. Almost sounds like its got a boxer motor on board. Non turbo I think though. I've seen them a few times now in the last two weeks. It's cool seeing one fast old school Yota, but seeing these two TA22's following each other is a sight. If anyone knows these cars I'd love to know what they are running. Just to make this post more legit for the thread I also saw a wicked beige KE70 wagon yesterday around Parkholme that was low with hubcaps and whitewalls. Didn't get a good look at it, but looked pretty neat from a distance.

Are you Kidding Me??????????????????????? Those are two of the finest looking Corolla's I have seen. That TE71 is so awesome. I have never seen one before. Then that Carina...... wow! Yep that was me. Didn't go on cruise though, just popped down for a look and to try to catch up with a couple mates that I assumed would be there and weren't. :)

that KE70 looks freakin neat. Even has the wind deflector. Thats a keeper.

Must be the day to spot KE25's cos I saw one take off from South Tce traffic lights on Pulteney Street heading north at about 5:45pm. Faded orange paint, black bonnet and SLAMMED !!!!!

Hey grunweiBus and welcome to the forum. What an exciting project you have. Here in Australia we got very few of the four door KE1x's. Even though you have a lot of work to do it will certainly be worth it. Make sure you keep putting up progress pics as you go. I'm sure there will be people here able to help you with all your questions. Yes.... that grille you have is off a Sprinter. :)

Spotted this tonight at Castle Plaza. This is the KE20 that almost ran me over a few weeks ago that I thought was a KE10 at the time cos it was dark and I am stupid. Anyway if I have to be run over I wouldn't mind being run over by this. Yet another cool old skool Rolla comin' outta Adelaide.
