  1. Are you talking a massive thing that covers your door or small ones like I have on the back window of my Rolla and doors of my Stout?

Spotted a bamboo 20 on Greenhill Road at 5:25pm this evening. Heading East just over Anzac hwy intersection. Looked nice and original.
  3. Agreed! I will not eat until I see more pics of this car :bash: My health is in your hands Just1n_mc
  4. Amen! Maybe the other way round though.
  5. Damn Nick. Those walls look sooooooo good on there too. I am suprised that it happened after you left them 4 weeks. Ring him and have a chat to him about it if you haven't already done so. He might have a quick fix. Awesome you have the car running so well though :bash: As for StasIII..... consider yourself PM'd.
  6. Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha !!! I now know that I could never own this car because I would wake up one morning, look out my window..... and well see ratiara rubbing himself on it :(

    That looks amazing!
  9. Mate that is literally one of the most beautiful Yota's I have seen. Can't believe we let that slip over the border to Victoria. :) Please put the venetian in and do nothing further. It is absolutely perfect! Jeezuz it looks airbrushed. Look at that interior and engine bay. :( Do me a favour at some point and go take some nice pics of it in an amazing location so I can have it as my screen background. I would sell a body part for that car!
  10. you only work 9am to 6pm? Lucky fella! I too wish to see pics of this car and also any other Rolla's in your area. Do you have shows or cruises that locals go to? Pics please. Pics of all. We wanna see alllll the pics! Hehe.... no pressure though. :y:
  11. Whitewalls - Whitewalls SA, Derel 0427 715380. He will come to you and do them with the wheels still on the car. Last I checked $120. A few other guys in Adelaide are also doing it and I have seen work by all of them. At this stage I cannot recommend anyone else as they are all yet to perfect it like Derel has. They will get there though and then there will be some competition for him. Flappers - Antique Motor Spares, Wingfield 8268 5540. John can supply Flappers from 12 to 15inch. Price is somewhere between $150 to $160 for a set of 4 last I checked. He can be found at pretty much all swapmeets too. He stocks "Atlas" brand flappers which from my experience are the best.

  13. Welcome to RollaClub. You will soon become a Corolla nut. It's hard not too when you own a classic Rolla such as your 20. Soon enough you shall have another Rolla and maybe another after that. ;) The speedo being in MPH is not uncommon for early cars in Oz. Most of the cars I have owned have had MPH speedo's but they have all been from the mid to late 60's. I predict your 20 is early 70's but I am no KE20 expert. Someone here will know for sure. As for engine..... you may have to clean up a bit, but on the drivers side there should be a tag on the side of the motor starting with either 3k or 4k..... then the rest of the engine number. That shall tell you what you have.

Spotted a sweet custom blue KE70 or AE71 last night at 5pm in Castle Plaza car park. Had flat grey boot and bonnet and what appeared to be centrelines. Nice looking rig. Great colour!
  15. You'd wanna be careful if you plan on going any lower than that round these parts ol' boy
  16. Something tells me that taking the rotor button, or something similar wouldn't have saved this car. I doubt it was just sitting on the road and someone got in and drove off. I'd say it was a little better planned than that. I will keep my fingers crossed that your mate gets it back in one piece.... I have my doubts though. Not the sort of car you steal for a joyride, unless you're off your nut and don't realise how easy it will get spotted....... more a target for the parts I would think.
  17. These thoughts happen to meet from time to time. But I always get drawn back into cars again. I got down to 2 cars a few years ago. Then I went on a spree and got back up to six again. Now at a comfortable 5. :jamie: Maybe just roll it to the back of the shed and keep all the bits you have stockpiled and get back to it at a later date. I'd like to see it take shape in the form you have planned for it at some point though.
  18. Horgan's Auto Upholstery. 11 MacArthur Avenue WARRADALE SA 5046. (08) 82961120 Did seats in my Corty a few years back. Can't remember how much it cost but it was HEAPS cheaper than most of the quotes I got and he had to totally respring and refoam the seat. Did an awesome job!
  19. mmmmmm...... I like! Clever rego plate too. nice buy for 15 hunjy
  20. I know there is already a youtube video thread, but figured all the KE1x fans like myself may not check that thread. Not sure if these have been posted anywhere else at all, but the first is of a KE16 or 18 Wagon in presumably Japan and the second is of a 4 door KE10.

Spotted SoulSearcher on South Terrace last night at 5:45pm. Good to see you back on the road Lesley. The 'Tivo looked good!
  24. Correct. This is the reason the rest of us get screwed to the wall for having a modded car.
