Sorry 'bout that NickZ, I didn't really know what I was doing on Ebay and just kinda kept clicking until it said "It's yours"....... Looks Fab from the front, very clean, but from about the rear doors back, it's like someone bathed it in "ultra rust" :) Still, gonna part it out whenever I make space for it in the backyard, and strip it ready for CPitDD! It's ok flat out, you can breathe, I only want to take Si out there on the 25th for the scouting run, to organise exactly where everything should be held + parking space + BBQ area Etc. You can relax now....... :P

Ladies and Gents, I HAS A THRASHER!!!!! :) In ^^^ this pic, the rust is so bad that if you open the boot, you can see the ground behind the rear passenger tire.......LOL Not bad for a $320 Ebay special. About the front looking really clean, it is, as a result, I'm taking everything good out of or off this car as spares/replacements for Project Tofu, the rest gets rally-bashed relentlessly until dead......... :P Anyone want an A/C unit? Come on Si, when we going scouting? (can't this weekend though, Gotta go see the parentals, How about Monday 25?)

My advice, go find a vending machine....... You can get Sake in a can from vending machines, you flip the can upside down, crimp the bottom, let it sit (upside down) for about 90 seconds, turn it up the right way, crack it and find piping hot Sake in a can!!! :P I love Japanese ingenuity....... :yes: P.S. If you find some of the above-mentioned Sake-in-a-can, please bring back 2 for me, I'll reimburse handsomly for your trouble....... :)

I had a KE70 daily thrasher/paddock thrasher *see avatar* with an unmodified (and unloved) 4K in it, in three years I changed the oil twice, refilled the radiator once (put a small hole in the rad. with a tree [never repaired]) the car spent 9 months of it's life actually being driven on the road, the remaining 25 odd months of it's life were spent on dirt and gravel valve bouncing.......... NB.. I took the car for a burn once a week, sometimes once a fortnight (work allowing) and from the moment it fired, it wouldn't go under 3500, usually for hours on end, it took it all and came back for more every time. End result, in my opinion K motors is right tough........ The diff was about to cack it by the time I forced the engine to die, but never got a chance.........

I got that message a few months ago, instantly thought "spam". I did nothing, guess what? no changes........... Problem solvered........

I've driven a KE36 wagon with a 7K and 5 speed in it, and it hauls......... about 10-15 extra horsepowers, and an extra 40-45 torques, mate it to a 5 speed and you'll feel the difference straight away......... You will need to mod the sump, besides that I *think* (don't quote me) that it should bolt right in........ Maybe it needs different engine mounts, don't know. Hit Tas-Rx up, he has the wagon now, he should be able to tell you more than I ever could. Good luck with it.......

Looks like my old Corona after a drunk in a green 4X4 ran a red and introduced the front bumper of his vehicle with the front drivers side suspension of mine........ :'( Brutal hit though, looks nasty, should buff out though (going off the fact that I saw my old Corona on the road and registered a month after I traded it for scrap metal), just needs a quick polish! :lol:

Best part is, there's a truck based on "Ironhide" <---The transformer on the way, it's gonna be even bigger! It won't transform into a world killing robot, but it will transform your wallet fron full to empty in 2.7 nanoseconds........ Oh, an those tires are 40's

Good thing that one was only one of the babys........ Check this out, the Ford F650, 7.2L Caterpillar C7 Diesel/6.7L Cummins ISB I-6 Diesel, anything between Auto 5 speeds and manual 7 speed trannys, and a wheelbase starting at 134 in. (3403.6 mm)!!!! That's already marginally bigger than a H1 Hummer........ The wheelbase goes up to 281 in (7137.4 mm)which is epic. Oh, and a towing capacity of *about 10 tons* :'( and 17Mpg @ 70 Mph!!! The wheelbase of the Hummer for reference is 130.00 in (3302 mm) If I felt like going out and randomly ramming traffic out of my way, I'd take the F650. (with a huge-f@$k-off bullbar) Mr. Ford, if your reading, I'll take a black crewcab with the Cummins 325/750 ISB and the TTC Spicer ESO66-7B 7-speed Manual. :lol:

Touge style, sort of. I'm aiming for a setup I can go for a blast in the hills/on the circuit with and feel I need no more, but still cruise past the fuzz smoothly enough to avoid attention. Oh, and it all has to be complied and engineered A1 legal. Had considered 1JZ conversion (just for the noise and the top-end), then considered 1UZ (quad turbo, for a blend of low down torque and top-end[and noise]). Then I thought about it, decided weight played a factor (understeer not my friend), so I decided on a 3SGTE. I'm not mechanically minded (ask Si/Tas Rx), so I'm doing an easy conversion first, 3TC+matching G/box/driveshaft/diff, then I'll move onto suspension, brakes, interior, body, then I'll consider starting on the 3SGTE conversion.

Ok, the chaos begins, today I parked project Tofu (the new minter) in the backyard, in the next week or so I'll clear up the little bits I feel are needed........ Eg. Front left indicator not working and cracked: new bulb, replace casing/lense. Rear right indicator cracked (still working) will replace lense. Upgrade headlights for a giggle. Bit of a clean up, then daily duties until I finish gathering parts for conversion #1....... :y: Let it be known, this project will take time, it's on a very limited finacial input, but will get there....... Pics.

I'm in.......... Espescially if we end up recording an epic bang like the Top Gear boys.......... I can mix the fuel for it......... I'm good with Chemical explosives/incendiarys..........(Don't ask)

That is so funny, I had to watch it like 6 times straight, I'd do it (if I was running turbo) just to see what the fuzz would have to say about it......... On topic: I can't wait to see how this runs when finished........

This is something me and a mate found at the back of said mates older brothers shed, asked the older brother: Q: still wants it? A: no, Q:can I has it? A: sure. SCORE! It's a Daihatsu thingy (Can't actually remember it's proper name) mini van now dubbed "sport" (need a sport badge now.......lol), I have named it "Anchovie" and as you can probably see, it's in bits, it's also rusty, the engine doesn't have a head and likely wouldn't run if it did, tyres are shagged, and it would be lethal to anyone unfortunate to be inside it in a carpark prang due to it's origami body, but it is now "Project Beater", so I'll rebuild it with (mostly standard) parts (leaving out anything glass), and then belt the shit out of it to see what I can do with it/get it to do.......... Should be fun.......

Saw the Rocky today, all I can ask is.......... Got flex? Example? For a recovery/tow vehicle I can see the Rocky doing admirably.............
