It kills me to have to post this, but here goes, My brother has gone missing, he was last seen by his housemate about 11pm Wednesday night when he (my brother) went to bed, so the guess is that he's been missing since Thursday morning........ At a guess, he left wearing green-brown (khaki almost) cargo trousers, t-shirt, and possibly his blue windcheater, and sneakers. He has his wallet on him, we know that much, but his phone was left in his bag (not uncommon), and he doesn't appear to have taken anything else with him. His name is Josh Curwen and he lives in Hobart, but could be anywhere at this point, this kind of behavior is completely odd for him, which is why we are very worried for him, hence my plea to you guys, please keep an eye out for him, and if you see him, please let me know ASAP. The police are involved with this case, and the missing persons unit will be contacting us tomorrow to give us an update, I'll update this post as information comes in......... This is the most recent picture I have of him, not the greatest pic, but it'll do...... Thanks for your time guys........

The car I'm talking about is very slammed, and it also has camber on all 4 wheels.........

SPOTTED: 1 very very straight KE36 wagon in black, dark dark tints, debadged all round, twin zorsts, dumped, no, slammed hard, and toting some serious firepower under the hood, pulled from 120ish and stormed away like I was standing still, thing is, it didn't sound like it was being thrashed, it was all lazy power........ WTF is in it, and who the hell owns it? It's gorgeous..........

Really do need multiple cars though IMO, racing + time trials + tandem dirt dori + dirt drags etc. in shitters no-one cares about........ That's the way I see it anyway.......

But fencing wire looks awesome when you drop it across the terminals, preferably in a big loop......... Then run.

Maybe, we'll see, I've already got 3 drivers as it is, but if everything goes to hell, you're on. (chances of everything going to hell are reasonable, BTW)

There should be another one in December at a guess, still working on the electrics, but I'll give everyone more notice next time, it's just proving difficult to get the time off work to fix/thrash the car........

Came across this the other day down at supercheap......... Maybe he was getting some rust killer? Has to be the most abused looking Cressida I've ever seen.......

The day(s) went well, we all had a good run around, did some exploring, nearly cleaned up some guys on motorbikes, towed a guy out of the mud because lowered holden utes don't work off road, got the truck bogged in a big way, got some filming done, but not enough....... After we used a technique that I wouldn't ever condone to straighten out the severely bent chassis, the car went like a dream, also it turned out that the reason it was running rough at the last outing was due to the timing being out a bit........ About midday yesterday we set up a racetrack, and started some timed runs, there were 3 of us, and a total of 3 runs were made, first was Bendall with a 3:00.47, which was reasonable due to his inexperience with that car, next was Birdy with a 2:46.58 and some impressive air over the line and nice control around the last corner, I went last and clocked in a 2:33.86 having misjudged a couple of corners and running wide into the scrub I tried to make up for my "lost time" by throwing more speed at it, ended up launching the poor old thing over the finish line and landing amongst a pile of 3 foot tall trees which surprisingly did little to no physical damage, but ended our day because now there is a weird electrical fault that is causing the engine to run only when the key is turned to the "on" position, as soon as you release the key to the "run" position the engine just shuts off, I have no idea what causes something like that, but I may have a ghetto garage way to repair it, then I'll go out again get the filming done first, then have our fun....... Overall I call the weekend a success, pics are on their way so don't bother asking, because they're all on Bendalls camera and he'll bring them to me when he's ready. Looking forward to the next one though........ :wink: Yoda out.

I don't actually have a front yard, but I'll be able to get a gun as soon as my application for a gun licence goes through for the purpose of targeting and "pest control" But even if I had a gun in my lap at the time something like this happened, they'd be gone before I got out the front door, like last time....... New window fitted BTW........

No neighbors saw anything, and the only one who heard it thought it was just another car alarm and ignored it....... From past history, if I park this thing on the street again (just replaced window today) tonight, it'll get smashed again (or worse) by sunday night...... Uh, no cops live on this street at all........ If it's me that's pissed someone off, I'd love to know who it is and how I managed to piss them off this much........ Unfortunately, I have very little off street parking space to play with, but I'm keeping Tofu in the backyard for the moment, and the landlady is ok with it considering the circumstances, so for the moment it's cool, but the dents in the boot are a bit annoying....... Oh, the chrome strip on the bottom of the window was damaged beyond repair, so now I have to find another one........ :P I like my chrome bits.......

I expect (as most tax paying citizens would) that the cops do their f@$king job and investigate the multiple reports I've made over the last few months. This is definitely not random, this car is very obviously being targeted, I'd love to know who's responsible and why they have such a vendetta against that car. I say "that car" because anyone who actually knew me would go for the 4X4 which isn't cheap, but no, they aim to AVOID the hatch, and the 4X4, and go for the KE70 instead, very tempted to set up a night vision camera system out the front, but that is seriously taking things too far to feel safe having my car parked out the front of my house.........

Ok, here's the scenario: 11:20pm, sitting at home, chilling out with a beer and a movie, hear a dull thump, then WEEEEWEEEEWEEEEWEEEEEWEEEE <----f@$king car alarm. I'm out the door like a bolt of blue lightning, golf club in hand, ready for a sprint......... I find this: I got Drive-by-bricked. Some brainless f@$k tossed a brick at the 'Sev, which was parked in front of the hatch, making me think it was specifically targeted, there is shattered glass everywhere, some landed all the way up against the front window on the dash. This is a huge mess and if I catch the f@$ker responsible, blood will be shed. Took the cops the best part of 2 hours to show up (because they were "busy"), when they get here they ask "so what's the problem?" I point at where the window was and say "that's a pretty big problem, really" they then decide it a wise idea to ask me what I want them to do about it, who did it, how much it would cost to fix it and what did I do to piss someone off........ Is there some sort of cut-off time during the day where cops brains stop functioning that I don't know about? If I knew any of that, I'd already have dealt with the person responsible....... I'm just pissed off that this sort of shit has to happen to that car, only car in the street that anything ever happens to, makes me think I'm just not supposed to own it....... Everyone keep ears open in case someone is stupid enough to brag about it to their mates for me yeah? RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! /rant :cool:

Yep, and I don't think I could care less........ Euro Touring cars = Entertaining Paris - Dakar = Very entertaining Japanese D1 = Supreme entertainment Bathurst 1000 just fails in my opinion. But to be fair it IS a good excuse to sit on the couch all day and drink beer......

Due in part to my needing more usable film for the next Youtube clip and a desire to make use of ORB, I'm heading out again this coming weekend, Saturday 11/10/08, anyone willing to come along and do some skids/ride along in ORB is more than welcome........
