  1. You could, but would you really want to trust the entire operation of your clutch to a clip you cut a chunk out of? Better off going with the factory one really..... Also, cutting it would be a damn sight harder than it looks.....
  2. Ok, just had a look outside, turns out there are 2 types of those clips, one looks kinda like yours, and has no slit at all and the other has the slit you can pass the wire through...... Try your local wrecking yard, ask if you can have a look about.......Or order one direct from Toyota, they always seem to have spares of everything....
  3. That bit is a clip, just unhook it, takes 2.7 seconds......
  4. Cross the wires at random until the car starts? *wait a sec* There should be one or two plugs that you would have disconnected from the auto shifter, those are the ones I was referring to, the one with only 2 cables is the one you need to jump, the other one controls your reverse lights, and that's not hard to hotwire once you work out which one is the sender from the gearbox itself....... You'll also need to replace the starter solenoid in the engine bay with one from a manual car........
  5. If you still have the auto shifter handy, disassemble it and find which two wires are triggered when the car is in "park" once you work that out, just link those cables (or fit a little switch to act as a kill switch if you desire), and it'll start every time..... It's what I did with mine.... But I no longer have it, so I can't check them for you....... Are the six cables in a single plug or 2 separate ones? Good luck
  6. Dec = Paddock bashers? :)
  7. YAY!
  8. Why not? I have car parts in the living room, computer room, games room, laundry and the leftovers are in the shed......
  9. Awesome, just awesome......... Funny as hell, "do not watch due to content" *thump* what was that? priceless........ 7:04, practice makes perfect........ It's something I'd do, that........ Thrash the scooby relentlessly, love it......
  10. Gold, sigged.
  11. *facepalm* Perfect example <--- The f@$k is going on lately? Noobies (I'm using the term as an act of kindness, I have other far more colorful names) sign up, agree to the rules, then immediately post a question to which the answer has been covered half a million times........ I haven't posted a link in the above thread, in fact I haven't posted at all, apparently when you point out to noobs that they are being noobs, they don't like it, get pissy and abuse the person pointing them in the correct direction........ I know I'm not the only person getting annoyed at any given level about this...... Noobies take note:It's not hard to click the f@$king search button for Christs sake  **note** I am in no way implying that people can't ask stupid questions, it's part of human nature and we all do it. But there are limits to this, and it is common sense on an online forum to search first, ask stupid questions later........
  12. German? V12? I think not........ lol
  13. Was a chicken..... once.....
  14. Clown people? Rich. Was joking jab in the direction of "try the search button". PM replied, with added information. You may also want to reply in English instead of this cut down wannabe text garbage.

  21. You'd think so, and in places you'd be very correct, but the main area we go in is mostly compact clay with a covering of dirt, get water on it and it's like driving on ice, awesome fun, these last couple of days of rain will just have added to the fun..... :y:
  22. I'ma raid your stash of parts then next time I'm up your way....... Maybe this weekend......
  23. I'll give it a go when the rain stops, cheers man. I'll pick up the exhaust tomorrow at a guess.......
