Any possibility you installed the clutch plate around the wrong way? I had similar issues once, and ended up finding I'd gotten mixed up and had the "tall" side facing the wrong way...... $0.02

Once had a Suzuki Swift as a loan car while mine was in the workshop, you could drive it with left foot for brake, and right foot for accelerator....... It was a manual....... :rolls: The clutch was only there to get you off the line, everywhere else it just wasn't needed...... Oh, and it did 80+ in second :D

What I mean is, if I was selling a car clearly worth 5K and I got an offer (via thread or pm) of 1k, I would politely request that they shove their offer up their ass, right next to their head...... Because lets face it, some people don't take no for an answer, and getting half a million lowball replies is going to eventually wear a bloke down, you can only get offered a swap for a automatic V6 commonwhore on 17's so many times before you snap and take someone's head off....... :blinks:

I swapped out the coil on Fonkey ages ago, and took it for a quick test drive to make sure it worked well all the way through the rev range, took a left turn at the pub about a kilometer and a half from home and heard an enormous bang from the engine bay, engine kept running so I bailed home smartly..... Had a look in the bay, couldn't see anything wrong, drove banshee's coon back to the pub and had a look around the corner, found the old coil sitting in the middle of the road with a huge dent in it, turns out I'd left it sitting on the brake fluid reservoir and it shook loose on the turn and I ran over it...... I never want to hear a noise like that again..... :blinks:

Attaining a peak of 7.5 on a decent day, for the most part I get 6.5 to 7.0, depends on the day, the alignment of the stars and planets, and the colour of my socks......
