From the assumed condition of your engine, it'll hold valve anywhere between 1 minute and 3 minutes, lots of variables, like topping up the oil first, having water in it, cold or warm start etc. etc. And before you ask, no, it won't go BANG, it'll rattle to a disappointing halt in a cloud of oil smoke.

The old 180B wagon I had years ago used to use about that much oil, eventually we gave up, ripped out the radiator, removed the bonnet (air cooling FTW), drained the sump and ran it on lawn mower fuel....... Bastard ran for 6 months like that :fuzz: Only thing that killed it was the dry chem fire extinguisher.....

I suggest grabbing a motorcycle helmet, and "fall asleep at the wheel" into something solid, like a building, a bridge, or maybe a Volvo (does still seem a little drastic though). Call insurance and say "oops". :fuzz:

What on earth did you coat the wheels with? I have to ask as replacing coatings will be a damn sight easier than buying new wheels and having to redrill then refill them with cement...... Yes, I has one too :) Also, rear axle mods? Care to share a little info?
