  1. I have sent the RAC footage guys an email to see if they can supply region 4 DVD's.
  2. Useless fact #192 Te2x's in the US in some models came with retractable seat belts front and rear. I picked up a set from the US in good condition. Yes I know they are old and you shouldn't buy second hand seatbelts.......
  3. And you blow it out with compressed air from the inside out. Not too close though, or you will tear the element.
  4. Woops! Must have been the vibrations from 1km away jangling my brain!
  5. Agree about that hardtop Corona! Wish I had a shed that big ;) But then I would just fill it up.
  6. As a bare minimum, go with brakes AT LEAST as good as though originally fitted to the car the engine came out of. Then consider what you will need to do if you further modify the engine. And what the car will be used for.
  7. I have to say I am really enjoying these detail pics of your rust repair. I reckon stay with the orange (or is it solar red?), Dfunkt's MS65 looks great in what I imagine is the same colour.
  8. Awesome o! Another great car reappears. You're going to get rid of those wheels though.......aren't you.
  9. Went and picked up my various goodies today. Not sure how easy it will be to get some turned up. Here is a detail shot of each end of the bush. Clearly need to use your original inner and outer shells. I'll see what I can do with some accurate measurements.
  10. If your FWD long motor is shagged, but the ancillaries are OK, I imagine it wouldn't be too bad IF the front mount can be bolted up, and you just swapped everything over. If the front mount can't just be bolted up, or the new motor wasn't real cheap (i.e. free), I wouldn't bother.
  11. Front wheel drive doesn't have a spigot bearing, presume you would be OK if you simply removed it. The big issue would be whether there are any tapped holes to take engine mount that bolts to the 'front' of the engine. Obviously you would need a FWD exhaust manifold, water outlets and water pump setup and probably other bits that presumably you already have.
  12. You would be wasting your time, would never have enough copy and would never sell enough. Have a look at Japanese Nostalgic car, quality magazine and struggling to sell enough copies. Publishing a magazine is a big job. Internet is instant, once it's hardcopy, it's out of date. Nice idea, but would never work. Perhaps you could start your own, wait for an offer from ACP (Packer) then retire!
  13. I'd say you have an early RWD 3 rib 86kw 4AGE. Pictures are a bit blurry, how many ribs are on the block under the inlet, almost certainly 3 rather than 7 on the later blocks.
  14. Surely there can't be anything else in that shed! Can't wait for this! Especially any more pics of that Corona.
  15. Be aware that legally this will require an engineering certificate.
  16. I had been thinking of taking a punt on KE20 seals, but after seeing this, went and bought some of a Canadian guy for $USD6.25 each. No pistons though, just the seals and the wire ring. His ebay user name is Joefriction and he didn't even charge me postage.
  17. I should have seen that coming......... Actually I should base it on car club membership, so might do that.
  18. Mine are still at importmonster's warehouse, waiting for the arrival of the next container. I'll let you know when I have them unless CDU gets back to you.
  19. Agree with everyone's sentiments. The mod team are doing a great job, and I suspect it is a bit like a duck on the pond. Calm and serene above water, and going like buggery beneath the surface. I found Rollaclub just as I finally gave up on a certain other site. And what a great place it is. Well run, helpful and knowledgeable people, and none of the bullshit seen on some other sites. Have often thought of becoming a donor but am unsure what constitutes a reasonable donation?
  20. Assuming you have the original calipers, would be keen to know where you got your caliper seals from?
  21. Mine came out at roughly $AUD75 with commissions, shipping etc.
  22. I've just responded to your PM rollababe. Mine are the same as Cam's, which is lucky as I unknowingly outbid him when I got mine! The aftermarket part number on the box is CR-4010
  23. Yes it was a great night, and my thanks to Tate and Jarrad for making it happen. Was great to catch up with people I usually only know through the internet ether, and put faces to names. There are some great people here. A real good turn out too. I reckon Bowler could get most of the stuff in Dave's shed in the back of the Valiant no worries. When it went past me, I thought the sky was falling.....
  24. The KE50 at Pick pay N Go has a tacho in it, not sure if any other KE5x had a tacho.
