Due to being very busy and with Thomo's workshop going through some changes over the next few weeks we will not have a meeting this month. We will however have a meeting in February on the last Tuesday of the month as per normal.

It looks like the next Motorkhana will be on in March around the 4th but yet to be confirmed. How many ACT Rolla Club members want to have a go? All you need is a level 2NS CAMS lic. ($48 for a year), membership to an invited club normally around $55 for a year(day membership can be got for around $10) and a car. Cost to enter is normally $25 for the day. You also need to be at least 12 years of age (min. age for CAMS 2NS Lic.). I will post up confirmed date and regs as soon as I know them.

Was a top day out, Thomo and I missed getting into the Motorkhana but Dave did due to registering a few weeks back. But hey not all was lost as wel had a run on the skidpan... :jamie: I want more skidpan time this is a blast. Stevumi, mate you are tops. Looked great in the khana and better in the pan. Thanks Thomo for the use of the car, had lots of fun ;) Oh yeah Dave said to say the front end is now really stuffed.

I have one that needs a new waterpump, not sure exactly how good the engine is but it run ok when I last drove it. It needs to be taken out of a AE71 but if you are willing to pull it out as well as the box (but leave me with the box) it is yours.

But would you be willing to pay to see them??????

probably just the normal 4......... 24 members in the ACT and only 4 show up to meetings.............. What do we need to do? Free food didn't work. Moving the meetings to a workshop where you can also get advise on your car did not work. Changing the day to suit more members didn't work. Come on tell me what do I need to do to get more members to come along? If more turn up then we can organise club outings. Is it due to Rolla Club being free to be apart of? do we need to charge to be a member of the ACT club to get people to meetings and events?

Hey all, Just thinking, do we want a meeting this month (30th Jan) or leave it until Feb? It maybe a bad time for some with school going back, holidays etc...... What do you all think? I am happy to leave it to Feb. Brett

Ok you need a Helmet a min. of a 2NS Cam lic. (about $48) a fire extinguisher with metal bracket (can be got from auto barn, just ask for a cams approved one about $30). Membership to an invited club eg: LCCC or the hil climb club SDMA. Also a car, surface is tar.
