We are holding a skid pan day. When: 24th Nov With: 5th gear motor sports Cost: $99 Dollars, must pay $50 deposit by 24th of November. Also we must have 10 -14 people to get that price. If we get 20 we will make a day and a BBQ out of it, 2 sessions one in the morning and on in the afternoon. CCG and any other Toyota clubs more than welcome. We will however still have the Club display on the day and all those that did enter if you are still able we would appreciate it if you can still show your car at the club display.

Marques in the Park 2007 & Corolla Display This year we will also be doing the Rolla Club ACT Corolla Display again and we will be inviting members from other states as well as other clubs to come along as well. I do not care if it is a rust bucket or a work in progress. I will have my Hill Climb car as well as my Corolla Sprinter there even if it is still a work in progress. The Rolla Club Corolla Display is open to both members and non-members and all Corolla models as well as Corolla based cars such as the Sprinter and Holden Nova as well as imports. Marques in the Park has grown from 200 cars in 2003 to over 550 in 2006, this year we are hoping to get 1000 vehicles on display, showcasing over 100 years of vehicles from the Canberra region. Last call for entries guys, I need to know by the end of the weekend. If you do not want to be part of the show and shine but would still like to be part of the club display I also need to know by the end of the weekend as I need numbers to confirm site size.

We are about 10 short of making this an event. If we don't get the numbers it will be made a club display just like last time to promote the club so members cars will still be needed on the day.

Yeah, long weekend put most of us out due to family things. Will need to check date of the next one, may even leave it to next year to bring the AE of death out as I need to get the rolla sprinter on the road asap so most of our spare cash will go into that project. Thomo is getting a car ready for Marques in the park/rolla club show and shine.........no entries yet from the TOC guys.

Folks, I've recently stuck my hand up to be the volunteer co-ordinator for the Light Car Club's second ACT Series rally for the year, the Corsa di Milli Pini (Race of 1000 Pines). The event runs over two days, 13-14 October 2007. Currently we need a full range of volunteer officials for this event, everything from Stage Commanders through control officials, HQ assistants, mobile security marshals, refuel attendants, road closure officials, spectator marshals etc. etc. etc. As always no experience is necessary for most roles and if you need training your stage commander or another key official will be able to help you with anything you're not sure of. If you are interested in assisting please let me know, if you have a preferred role please let me know that too so I can hopefully help you out. If you're available for the Saturday and Sunday that would be great, if not then any help we can get for one day only will be greatly appreciated. If you're interested in motorsport or the outdoors and would like to see some different scenery, get a private spectator point or just get out into the forest for a day here's your chance. For more information simply contact me with any questions or your availability for the event. We have a club meeting on the 25th (this Tuesday) at Pharley's Spares & Repairs 76 Sheppard St Hume at 7pm. I will have entry forms with me for the show & shine.
