Neil Bates brother Rick is to replace Guest and drive for Ford for Rally of Melbourne. Maybe he wil show up Guest and get a drive with Ford next year ;) Could mean that the Bates workshop here in Canberra will become a Toyota/ Ford workshop..........then maybe not.

Ok guys we really need to get numbers for this so we know how many cars we will have so I know what we will need to organise for us to set up such as marquee etc... The more cars the better, you do not need a show car for this. A work in progress or stock standard old shitter is ok and good as they also draw people in to find out what is being planned for it etc... We would like to see all cars in the club out on display so if you can let me know.

Sounds like you had fun :lock: You can do a Hill Climb on the 24th and a Khanacross on the 23rd before the hill climb..... ;) If the old Excel driver seat will fit the rolla you can have it.

It is a fun day in the dirt with your standard car or s#*! box you got from the paper the weekend before for $200. Fastest time around a set dirt circuit wins, Like a MotorKhana but on dirt and more fun. You need to come for a look and even have a go.

Make good rally cars but getting harder to get parts for. Ask this question on the local rally forum and the guys that have them will let you know www.bmsc.com.au

I thinks dates are locked in just waiting on final word from ACT Forests but all seems good so lock the dates in.

Yep I agree with Geoff maybe cheaper to buy a new car/shell and move all the good bits over. Cutting rear quarter panels off as well as boot pans etc...and replacing them can be done but just as easy to do a new car.

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Queanbeyan, i want to get her rolling again asap. Try Steve (Thomo), he is in Hume not far from QBN.

2006 John Watson Tri-series Khanacross -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi there everyone The LCCC are trying to lock in some dates for this years Tri-series Khanas. So far the calendar is pretty tight and and they will fall a week before any ACT/NSW rally. 23rd Sep 21st Oct 18th Nov I will comfirm dates asap.

Welcome dude :) Look forward to meeting you at the next meeting. I am also a member of LCCC (local rally club) and love my motorsports. If you ever want to do Khana's etc... let me know. Nice KE70 as well :)
