  1. which master cylinder should i use?
  2. is it a necessity to change the master cylinder for the ke30 brakes?
  3. Hey all. I've been searching around the forum for more info on this but i probably haven't typed the right thing in (i've read the FAQ'S aswell). I want to change the stud pattern and brakes on my ke10, i know the front is pretty straight forward but what i really wanna know is if i put a ke30 diff in it, how much wider is it than the ke10 diff? Also is it difficult to put a brake booster in? if there is a post that covers all this could someone point me in the right direction. thanks.
  4. I'm gunna leave it original with the exception of whitewalls venetians and a massive lowering job, then put a different engine in it of some sort. Gunna leave it auto, so it will be a nice cruiser. No idea what engine maybe a 5k if i can find one, thats about it.
  5. I got my self an immaculate ke30 recently, absolutely rapt with it, now i just gotta get it registered. The engine bay was plastered with grease and crap when i got it, 3 cans of degreaser later......
  6. Yeah awesome deal, i thought payin 375 for a granny style ke20 with 6 mths reg was good, now just gotta find time to do shit to it. Might put it in for a roady next week, shouldn't need much i wouldn't think. steal of the century, and shit it runs good.

  10. I've wanted one of these for ages now i got one. The paint on it is less than 12 months old and it only has a few pin dints and the front bumper has been pushed in (has only bent the rio). It runs bloody awesome and the air con actually works. I still can't beleive i only paid $150 for it.
  11. Thats why i'm doin an auto coz everyone goes manual. so if there a trimatic they will have no probs handling the power of a 4agte. or i might save my money and just put a 1uzfe in it :jamie: i.m a big fan of the sleeper look so it will be sly no matter what i put in it.

  13. I have just brought my first ae71. I just did a search, i was gunna ask about putting a twin cam head on the 4ac, but heard it was a waste of time. mine is an auto and that was why i was trying to find out so i did'nt have to piss fart around with flywheels. Having said that, has anyone bolted a 4age up to the standard auto?. What is involved?
  14. Has anyone else had dramas getting registered for toymods? i've been trying to register ever since the new site started and i still havn't seen or heard anything from them. i'ts driving me insane!!
  15. I'd say go for it man. mammoth loads of people have done it, you only have to go to springnats or easternats to see how popular this conversion is. It may very well be a boat anchor, but it would be priceless seeing the reaction of people in v8's when you leave them at the lights. Good fun and best of all, cheap to do.
  16. can any one give me the dimensions for the engine bay in an ae86. eg. width, length. comparing it to a ke30.
