Hi Guys, Some pics of my SR20 powered KE20 that I sold recently, was a great car and I do miss her but I have a new toy which i'll post up soon. Its just a stock KE20 which i'm going to restore original style, put on historic rego and have a bit of fun with. Will start a project thread when i get underway with it. Enjoy!

Hi Jono, My coils are inside just under the dash, just run some nice big rubber grommets around them Cheers Matt

Thanks mate, yeah I took it down on the 205 street tyres (1st, 2nd and half of 3rd was a waste of time), only got a handful of runs as the thermo fan stopped working so she got bloody hot, best of 13.4 at 114mph. I'll eventually go back with slicks and see what she can do with better traction.

Yeah, I know Wally, he did a good job on the conversion, Ben and Insight Motorsports took it to the next level with the forged internals and bolt ons etc. I love your cousin's KE20, such a good sleeper, would haul ass on the street with the setup he's got. I prefer sleepers like his car and your KE30, nothing like a good sleeper! Mine is really a bit of a waste of time on street tyres, just frys them and then its time to change gears again! My mate in the wagon might come along too, he's just had a new baby though so he's pretty busy with that at the moment. Cheers Mattt

I love all old school cars, I love the character of the oldies. Does anyone know the story that goes with the pictures- what happened- jammed throttle or something??

I have to put my $0.02c in here. Having spent 5 years building up my XT Fairmont, and having also owned several KE series corolla's, they are both awesome cars and both are better at some things than the other. Yes, the prices are crazy for these things now, but that's supply and demand... this certainly isn't a case of no big deal, genuine wild violet XYGT's whith white trim and a factory wind back sunroof which have been expertly restored don't come around every day... :D
