  1. What happened??
  2. Welcome back buddy! Congrats on the rugrat! Can't wait to see new pics of Rollabus, sounds like you've done as much on your car in the last year as I have... but your excuses are way better
  3. Looking good, can't wait to see the final product! Any reason why you started painting before rust repairing, I'm guessing someone couldn't wait to see what she would look like purple? And yes it is odd Carbonboy
  4. Hi JamieT... love your music! I think a nice bright green would look ok, haven't seen a 70 done in that for a while.
  5. Yup, last one was a couple weeks ago, ended up just me going... so it got canned :P

  6. Very unhappy... I wanted the first FT86!! :(
  7. She's not pretty but all the body lines look good. Nothing a bit of hard yakka wont fix! Keep those pics coming! Any idea what those front seats are out of?
  8. I love this thread... much shorter waits for updates when it's all already happened.
  9. Not too bad, I think my guards were worse (front inch was bog). According to the Toyota Model Identification sheet anything below KE10-260001 is 1967 built. This contradicts what some people have written on the Corolla Database thread but I'm sure these people were just going off the registered date not the build date.
  10. Thanks. Here's a pic with the new grill in. Ignore the lower panel not lining up, that's getting re-done at final touch up at the panel shop. Also has the new side indicators in. The parker lights are good but I'm going to get them, the headlight surrounds, the tail light surrounds, the side strips and the boot lid badge rechromed.
  11. Guess who has the straitest KE10 bumpers in the world! :D Cost more than I originally paid for the car to get this done but well worth it. They even have full coating on the inside. The chromer told me that they make sure everything is back to metal on the inside, then weld if needed (was needed in one spot of mine). Then when they dip it gets good coverage both sides :) A friend of mine recently did the bumpers on his shaker, paid less than me but had to paint the insides afterwards :( Hard to get a good pic with the plastic on but I'm not taking that off till I'm ready to mount them.
  12. Very nice. Looks reasonably straight in the pic... but there's a lot we can't see :) Please add to the Corolla Database. Interested to see if she is a 67 build or not. Everything I can see looks 67, would like to see what dash she has.
  13. I don't think I've seen a 4 door before!
  14. Everyone OK?? Looks like she went under the back of a truck!
  15. Fantastic, always wanted this list but couldn't find it.
  16. Fantastic! Can't wait to see her after cut and polish. Mate, I'll double your money right now... $600 for her? Well done, car looks sexy even as is on standard wheels.
  17. Rollaclub and ebay are about the only place you can find a 5k.
  18. Lucky son of a bitch!! Can't wait to see pics!
  19. Agree with Trev. The only thing making an MA61 wider than an RA60 is the fatter wheels and stick on flares. They are the same shell... also I like Mumbleweeds front end! This is all canned by the way :( Can someone please take this car of this guys hands for me. It's a 1998 Altezza Auto in Cordell Park NSW 2200. His name is Anthony: 0405 258 393 Gumtree add He was happy to sell me the complete car for $1500, a steel for a Gen 4 3SGE/5spd Auto!!
  20. Hmm :hmm: No way I'm scrapping the RA60 idea, but I might look at getting an SA63 to scrap for parts  I wonder if the cross member in my 1SGE powered Corona will fit in the RA60?? If not I'll look for a wrecked SA63. As the MA61 is the same body as the RA60 I assume an MA61 rear end will fit under the RA60? This will handle the 147kW?? I'm sure fuel pump won't be hard to sort out...
  21. Hi all, I'm looking at taking possession of a 1998 Altezza in the next month or so. The car has had a big wack up the rear and is unrepairable. The plan is to swap over everything in the engine bay (or as much as we can fit) into my wife's 1982 Celica. This Altezza has the 147kW 3SGE with the 5sp auto gearbox. We also want to fit the dash display and center consol into the Celica. My first question is what diff would you suggest we use with this setup?? We hope to buy and fit the diff for less than a grand (less than $500 if possible, not counting the custom drive shaft). I will keep you all posted as things progress and I'm sure I will have many more questions.
  22. I was laughing at the same thing when I saw the pic
  23. Nice plan... but I can't see a bagged E70 ever looking as sweet as that Cressy, love those lines!
  24. I think we all know the likelihood of that
