  1. Lol, seems like it. Well we have a development... the beemer is getting a new gearbox and then getting shoved out the door. I think you will all like what is replacing her  Watch this space, I'm not telling what she is until I take delivery (could be a week).
  2. He hasn't been on since Feb, try sending him a PM ;)
  3. Yeh, me too! This is the last time I buy not Toyota (or Lexus or something else thats Toyota with another badge). Managed to track down another gearbox for a reasonable price.... by reasonable I mean I could (and have) buy a 5K with a gearbox for cheaper :( First quote I got was $3000 to get my box rebuilt.... I don't think he wanted the job :hmm: I'm seriously considering selling this off once I fix the gearbox. Unlike the dodgy f*ck I purchased the car off, I won't sell a car with problems without running the buyer through them. It sounds like I won't be loosing the Rona after all :D I love that car!
  4. Updates. Alternator in and working well... the minor issue she had with weird noises taking off has progressed to a dead gearbox :bash: Checked the ATF and it was low, topped it up and it leaked out the housing :( Even before it all ran out the thing didn't wanna go. Anyone want an 86 325e?? Going cheap :(
  5. Nice daily... love the "custom" plates
  6. Wow... that looks absolutely perfect! Pity no one really looks at wheel wells, I'll try and remember to if I ever get to see your car
  7. :lolcry: Had a good laugh at that one
  8. Very sexy... custom??
  9. I brought kits of ebay This isn't the one I brought but an example that they are available ;) Had jets in the kit I brought. Edit: Just email the supplier and ask them to check if they have the jets you need.
  10. Meh, I love my 2 x early KE10 grills... especially the NOS one... Sooo shiney! :D
  11. That's a very open question... yes, if it's done thick enough and like a chassis and cage.
  12. Yeh, inserts would be my choice. The painted ones are done by a portable machine that flattens a strip of the wheel then paints... not hand painted, perfectly accurate. It's becomming quite common in Oz.
  13. Hi Andrew. I've always liked the look of these, we have a couple running around my area (all in bad shape). I like that you got the plastics back to black... why do people do shit like that?? It never looks good having a few bright bits of plastic in a black interior! Not so keen on the round lights in the front bar... no way of fitting 1 rectangle light to fill the spot? Maybe a pair of those yellow looking foglights? :hmm:
  14. You don't have people with whitewall painting setups over there?? If not there are white wall inserts on ebay ;)
  15. Fantastic find! I'd love to see this hit with rust converter, new tyres put on, engine changed for a runner (or engine fixed if possible)... then driven as is  That would be an awesome sight driving down the road!
  16. Hey Dion, my cousin lives in Geraldton and he's chasing something AE71 or older... worked, preferably 4age. He has a decent amount to spend... you know anything in the area?? Oh and I'm not game to try just bringing a car home... she might take her anger out on my babies (the cars)
  17. Can't wait to see what happens next! Oh and Little Red, he already has a bamboo KE20 with a 1UZ... what ever happened to that thing??
  18. :bash: Had my nieces 18th that day, forgot all about this... sorry man.
  19. Loved the top comment on the vid... "they see me rollin" :lolcry:
  20. Finally got the nut off, stripped the thread on the bolt and the nut :( just gotta get another nut & bolt and I'm back in business :)
  21. That wagon is a bargain... offer him $250!
  22. Ok I've got the new alternator and am trying to install... Got the top mount bolt out and terminals disconnected no problem. Bottom mount bolt was an absolute bitch but got it out. After a lot of messing around (because the belt has to go on before the alt is mounted) I finally got the bottom mount lined up and the bolt through... but the nut (which is held between 2 forks because there is no possible way to get to it) is now spinning on the end of the bolt but wont loosen or tighten R@#$&!!! :bash: Now there is barely enough room to get a socket on the end of the bolt between the other belts and the top rad hose and I didn't want to dismantle everything else... any ideas?? So tempted to just do up the top mount and ignore it...
  23. Ah that sux balls... I've backed into a pole once back when I was on my P's. One of the 2 incident's I've had in my 10-11 years of driving that was my fault  both where while on my P's... Experience is king!
  24. You'd have to be pretty brain dead to plank on a 7th story balcony rail... or to think the trend of planking and not the individuals stupidity is to blame for his death. Some people should win Darwin awards
