the big block is a good reason to do the engine swap except people will still laugh at me. lol. coln72 why was it a backwards move?

i drive a ke30. you wouldnt expect such an upgrade from such a small difference, but yor guys just gave me the encouragement to do it.

hey yas, i currently have a 3k in my car,and have just been given a 4k. apart from the ovious 100cc upgrade i want to know if it would be worth the effort of swapping the engines. would it be worth it?

how avalible are the injection systems for the k motors?

yea its a ct20. a mate gave it to me when he wrecked his hilux. its sitting here doing nothing and i want to put it to good use...hehe. i thought that petrol turbos and diesel turbos are the same? why are they not the go?

yea but i can't be stuffed making it all up and then finding out that it doesnt work...

i want peoples opinion on this... does anyone think that a turbo off a 83 hilux diesel ( i think 2.2L) would be too big for a 4k???

sorry for the delay...went on holidays... it was a trimatic and whats this guide thing you talk of? it hasnt been lightened.and the dowls were all there and everything was clean. its running on all 4 and it doesnt matter if the clutch is engaged or not and theres no pedal pulsing or anything like that,
