another option is the older style 'peep mirror'. you'll never get a great view out of one but you'll see enough not to merge into a truck. TE278U had these on his TE27 corolla. i'll try and find a photo of his car. EDIT: for some reason it won't let me post the pic so here's a link. TE27 with mirror.

or in the drive way. these are all things that have been going through my head. now i'm at a different set of problems. having cleaned the car (mostly) of glass and pulling the old seal out i have found a few rust patches and a hole that need dealing with. ah, the never ending fun that is corollas.

i was going to head down but they weren't open yesterday or today. sorted out a piece of glass for now and the rubber form the car it came from looks like it will seal fine. i'll just pump it full of sealer till it stops leaking. now i've got to try and save my chrome trims :S now looking for rollaclub stickers for the new piece glass. :P

all sorted. coming down tomorrow to pull the glass out of a car he has. i'll have to wait till monday to put it in because i can't source a new rubber seal from anywhere until then.

is the plan to try and fix what is there or just cut off the front end and weld on another? personally i wouldn't be using a shell that has had this much damage. why aren't you just re-shelling into the green car you got?

spotted a ke15 on orrong road tonight. looks like someone has a good project on their hands. had matte black front hanging panels and no headlights. running 15inch superlight wheels all round and a big(for a ke1X) disc brake front. had the sprinter badge removed from the boot and put on the glove box. had the standard(no tach) dash cluster. looks to also have had the chrome strips down the sides removed and the holes filled. definitely keen for more info if anyone knows anything else about the car, engine, driveline, ect.

i'd say this was quite successful. i'd definitely be keen for another one some time soon. it only gets warmer from here. :dance:

i was down at Peter Robinson's today and he mentioned a ke20 he's selling has a tacho dash. i went and had a look and it's exactly like yours. he says they where standard fitment on the SL models (top of the line) got a pic for you too.

i try to limit myself to 6000rpm when going for a 'spirited' drive but there is really no point as my car has nothing after 5000ish. i once took my old 3k to 7000+ rpms, thus i have a new 4k :P

i'm definitely keen for this but it's too far out for me to say 100%.
