  2. Here is mine
  3. I thought you were talking about me....:D
  4. sounds like the one Ive got. Also have one for the 20 series aswell
  5. Hey, I own a wagon......... At least the humble ke50 makes the list under 2 door wagons.
  6. Ever thought of redrilling your crossmember to get some more neg camber. Reduces understeer heaps, even with a locked diff.
  7. Done a couple of Rollas for me. don't know about chaep cause I got them done for the price of materials alone. I know that some of the cars he has painted have won awards.
  8. Damn, my 20is basically standard suspension wise and it doesnt roll that much. Maybe I'm just used to it. Ive actually softened my rear springs. You could cut a coil from your front springs for a cheap and nasty way of stiffening (I'm now running for cover from everyone for suggesting cut springs :) ) You could modify another front anti roll bar and run twin bars on the front to reduce the roll.
  9. look after one of my sponsors here P & A Paints in Ballarat if you like the drive 53396163
  10. I have a factory parts manual for KE30's somewhere at home that lists different ratios with part numbers in it. If I can find it I will scan it for you.
  11. Rip the centres out of some Celica or Corona rims, buy some 14" outers (or I think that you can get rims that take 14" centres but give you 15" rims) and get them welded in. Simple.
  12. This will make 2 if all goes well. They will be less than 12 months apart!!!!!!!
  13. Welcome guys. Wayne, how long have you been a member of the BLCC. Have been a member for a while but semi retired now - damn babies (another is on the way) and house loans sucked up all my spare cash :P
  14. DO IT. Hell most of us started with stock cars that we drove to and from events. Then if you start to get serious about it then modify or buy a purpose built car.
  15. That is bad. Hope it is just an isolated problem that only happens in QLD..... Know what you mean about no traction on clay. local autocross track is a clay base with coarse sand on it. SLIPPERY as with road tyres (opposite locking in third gear with a close to standard 5K)
  16. Damn thats cheaper than I paid 10years ago - I was lookong at $90 each for the guards and $140 for a bonnet. can't remember what the bumper cost me.
  17. uncle got them through a trade supplier close to ten years ago. see if I can find out some more info but don't hold your breath. Think they were Tiawanese(?) copies.
  18. Its a great idea. Would like as much info as I can get. If you could PM me the contact details of your teacher or your school, I would be greatful.
  19. Got some years ago. They were non genuine copies but at $90 each for the front guards and $140 for a bonnet I wasnt complaining.
  20. OK I 'spose Shit the rims on my trailer have that much dish, makes bleeding the brakes a piece of piss as the entire backing plate is exposed :)
  21. remark the speedo so you know where 60, 80 and 100 are.
  22. If the original paint is ok then no. If it is covered in crows feet, or otherwise shit then yes. IMO if you are getting a complete respay CHANGE THE COLOR. Baby shit brown is not a good look (I should know seeing my little boy is 5 months old). It doesnt take a lot more work for a color change - just a quick squirt inside of the doors. don't need to worry about the engine bay as no one will see it 'cause Rollas never break down :jamie:
  23. You can match to old faded paint but the new paint will not fade at the same rate as the old paint. In a year or so the repair stands out like dogs balls.
  24. Is that the one that the students build up and it is then used in road rallies? Was speaking to the principal of a Launceston school a couple of years ago at Targa and he was telling us of his plans. Would like more info as I want to do something similar at the school I am at.
  25. When I damaged my first Rolla, the painter (my uncle) refused to paint the car in the same color. It was sorta a red/brown color. Wasn't much more work in repainting the whole car (one side had to be repaired). Ended up being bright red with three different pearls mixed in :jamie: .
