  1. and I gave a ke26 away..........:)
  2. will be when I get to work. everything is on video at home :)
  3. "Man I wish I didn't suck at driving anything but the Starlet" don't worry, I suck at driving FWD's and AWD's :)
  4. Thats my first preference
  5. In car footage this time. The car in the background is actually a 4 door ke20.
  6. shift light set at 7500rpm and it was on :) Its sucking through a pair of downdrafts
  7. link to my beast in action on a surface that it is set up for.
  8. There would be a circuit racer in SA that would disagree with that - almost unbeatable in the street car class. An early lancer or colt would be ok. Similar to a Corolla but with the possibility of running a 2L or a 2.6L.
  9. Local club escort is set up with a full house BDA (?) Cossie. Nice.
  10. Escorts - way too common. But a mrk 1 with a full house 2L would be a lot of fun......
  11. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/06/27/and-the...-ohio-adventur/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHYEHjnQJ2U...ls%20motorsport
  12. don't need gasket goo at all for the head gasket but you probably will for stuff like manifold gaskets etc. Shouldnt need to set at tdc unless the dizzy comes out.
  13. can't remember my KE20 being beaten by anything powered by a 4age or 4agze in a motorkhana or an autocross. If you don't mind FWD why not a Moke with a full house Cooper S motor in it . If funds are not an issue fit a twin cam head, 6 speed box and really have some fun ;)
  14. I'd go for the KE20/25 as they are lighter than the KE30's and mechanically very similar. This is my motorkhana set up. KE20 5K - srinter twins, cam, extractors 4 speed 4:2 diff locked modified front end etc extremely competitive (5th in class Aust Motorkhana Champ.)
  15. difference is that I don't have to drive it home
  16. Just thinking of the cars that were different that have competed in motorkahnas in Vic. Early Peugots (404?) RWD but very skinny for length. Unbetable in the large car class. Also get to see some very cool 3 wheeling action. 120y fitted with a 200b motor (but its a nissan) Supercharged EA falcon ;) Will add more as I think of them Like the idea of an old Morris - fit the 4K into it :P
  17. Waste of time swapping to a 4K. Did it to an ex's car and wish we stuck with the 3K. Swaping to a 5k or 7k would be different though......
  18. Had the factory tacho pegged on 8000rpm for a while and it held together. Also had a shift light on constantly for a full motorkhana and that is set to come on at 7500rpm.
  19. Mate had a Sigma which ended up with a set of extractors, 2" system without the resonator ans a 3rd hand muffler which came off my Corolla (and a Torana before that) and had had the baffles knocked out of it ;) Loud but legal - it got quieter as it revved :P - and made a beautiful crackle on the over run.
  20. An ex was right into modding her Corolla, even rubbed it back to get it painted.
  21. Welcome aboard - we need some more motorkhana people around here.
  22. ^^^^^^listen as the corolla god will be speaking^^^^^^
  23. welcome aboard mate
  24. I had 225/60/13's under my 35 with clearance and a mates Sigma alloys bolted up (225/?/15's) but due to the offset looked shit with my widened guards. If you have ever seen an XA/XB coupe on standard steelies you would get the idea. Check out http://www.cardomain.com/ride/372278 for more picks of my 20 and my old 35
