Easier to mount it to the castor arms with some clamps. This way a later one should fit. This is how the Selby's/K Mac set ups Ive had seem to do it. Another option is 70's Mazda, as they are about the same width. I ran a aftermarket set up from a Mazda (stuffed if I know what model it was from, it was given to me as it didnt fit my cousins 808) that was almost a perfect fit onto a KE35. Made a noticable difference :D Later on I had a KE35 kit that I got cheap bolted up onto my KE20

just found that the 4K we had wouldnt rev past 5000rpm as it was strangled by all of the pollution shit that was hanging off it, didnt have enough grunt to chirp the tyres and was generally a bucket of puss. Where the pre pollution 3k that came out would of shit all over it for performance. both of these engines were serviced and tuned by the guy that builds my race motors and I don't seem to be down on grunt. maybe we just had a shitter 4K or a very good 3k

Had a 3k, 4k and 5k. In order of prefference 5k 3k 4k The 4k was a gutless piece of shit that required a lot of work to get it close to a stock 5k!!!!!!

Anything can be done with enough time and effort, comes down to how badly do you want to run those carbies. Hell Ive seen a Honda Civic running 4 bike carbies on it

People have been lightening cast iron flywheels for years, its just the ones that are done excessivly that cause problems. Think I remember that unlightened flywheels in grey motored holdens would let go if you could rev them hard enough.
