just linked mine up with a piecs of fuel hose clamped onto the throttle shafts and ran the cable off the back carby as I didn't get the linkages when I got my minifold, but if its a restorer then this wouldn't be original.

Unfortunatly my old man had one of his periodic clean outs, probably due to mum telling him to clean out all of that car shit, and the rest of the wood grasin facia (dash vents, glove box lid, heater control panel etc) went to the tip :) :P :D so all that is left is what you can see :D The wood grain is only stick on shit so it would be easy to remove or replace.

Been floating around here for a long time and I finally got off my arse and got a few pics of the Rolla. It has been used for motorkhanas for a long time so that is why it is covered in mud underneath. It is too hard to clean off. grotty looking 5k :) at least the oil leaks don't show up much side shot. Mods to strut mounts are not visible not factory tacho dash behind aftermarket tacho another interior shot modified rear springs so there are only two leaves Circle shows original control arm bolt hole (technically illegal with some clubs but who looks :P )

I must be old school, I always try to cram as much rubber onto a rim that would fit. Ran 225's on a 6" rim for a long time.

In vic, they didnt worry about the 5k in my KE35. Just changed the engine number. Even had to correct them on that as they stuffed it up.

sounds like you need my old mans cam from his old rolla. Used to come in HARD at just under 4000rpm and keep going. The lobes on it were almost square!

Mine isnt a Wade cam, its just ground to their specs. I found the 169 specs under Triumph in the Wade cataloge. The specs are Lift (at lobe) - 0.269" Ex opens - 75deg closes 36deg Inlet opens - 41deg closes 70deg

Swap no. 2 & 3 plug leads. Hold foot flat and hit the starter. Backfires will clear out some of the shit. And by the way, remove aircleaner first :kiwi:

Yes it will bolt to the motor :) No it wont fit into your shell ;)

Remember to run big arse cables as the voltage drop will make it a bitch to start if you don't. Use grommets to stop your cables from shorting out when you run them through body work and make sure you bolt your battery down securely.

Went to a first birthday party over the weekend and in the back yard were a couple of rollas. One was a KE70 sitting on its guts and the other was a KE55 Hardtop that is being built up sitting on 16's There are also a few others being driven around atm so I will try to find out details on them. Talking to one guy who is/has built a supercharged 4K and split the block.

Nah, shes basically a stocker $100 5k with carbs (freebies), cam and exhaust. Don't know about the dyno program, but she was competitive with most of the other rolla's (including 2tg's and 4age's) we come across and a large number of datsuns and escorts as well. Shit, I must be good enough behind the wheel to make up for 1.5:1 CR loss :P
