  1. dunno - just get rid of it and fit an electric pump. Bugger me, I have two available right here........:P
  2. But you know who it was........
  3. went through this with my KE20 a little while ago. Had to prime the fule lines as the pump (electric) wouldnt suck the fuel out of the tank.
  4. get out the grinder and get it low :P
  5. you will still need the ke55 "backing plate" though
  6. There was once an infamous member of the TCCA (vic) club that did something like that to a KE25. He had all but the main leaf upsidedown. Lets say that he was putting it back the way it was after the first run. The back wheels were a couple of feet off the road when he tried to do a handbrake turn :P
  7. one word......LOCKER
  8. Monkey omg!!!!!! You must have a walking stick to remember that one Rob
  9. ^^^all of the above^^^ plus Hogans Heros, Get Smart...... Shit I didn't think I was that old :P
  10. don't do it with thin aluminium though, it melts....... :P
  11. What ever RX3/808 Mazda are or early RX7
  12. Yes I have seen these two different bolt patterns, but I have no idea why or which models are different. Personally I have only had the manifold that you have, but have thrown out extractors set up like your exhaust.
  13. Make what you want to know clear. As to shortening the diff - unless you have a jig to keep it all aligned and you REALLY know how to weld I think you are asking for trouble doing it yourself. The thought of the whole axel assembly passing you on the freeway is scary........... I'm guessing that if you shorten the diff, you need shorter axels as I don't know how much spline you have to play with. If they have to be shortened, recutting the splines (assuming there is enough meat) will weaken the axel. In short, get a proffessional to do it, find a shorter diff, or don't drive it so hard  Happy now
  14. diff tube I'm guessing is the bit tubey bit from the centre out to the brakes
  15. ita a KE20, about the only thing you can adjust is the toe in/out and maybe the castor?
  16. hmmph, only a spring chicken  Happy b'day mate
  17. that would be me and they are in Maryborough about 70 k's from Bendigo. Actually have 2 complete 3k's and 2 incomplete.
  18. I feel your pain. Didn't want to cut up the dash of my old HZ ute which was not fitted with a radio at all. Ended up slotting one in a tray that was moulded into the bottom of the dash. Only had to drill one hole and it was hidden from view.
  19. or more biggerer :y:
  20. like a koala, but bigger and meaner and have been known to attack people.........
  21. maybe dig up a 3k-B carby set up. Then you could say "no officer it is all factory" like I used to :y: while hoping the police wouldn't notice the 5k, no pollution gear...........
  22. Block it off. Proper twin carb heads had a water passage from the head into the manifold towards the rear of the head. Without this water wont circulate anyway.
  23. Manifold water heating.
