  2. Now you young whipper snapper. Some of us are more mature
  3. Cheap option is to redrill the crossmember to move the control arms about an inch. Worked well on my KE20. Could also claim they were adjustable as I could put them back in the original holes
  4. I'll swap ya your 5 hours of car cleaning for my team management in a 24 hour race. 30 something hours without sleep sucks!
  5. Remind me to be nice to you :lolcry:
  6. Cut down some KE3# ones a heap and redrilled the studs in my old KE20
  7. Used to grind a bees dick out of the back of my rims but they were not simmons.
  8. owned by a welsh bloke and his kids. always wanted my 5k to fit into it. Why were you up at a BLCC meeting?????
  9. half right - it was white with a big hy rolla sticker on the back window.
  10. So you finally found us here. Sad to hear about your rollas dude. The KE55 wasn't a bad piece of machinery.
  11. My old HZ ute (202 auto) would get about 19mpg on the freeway!!! and that was better than it did earlier in its life. Towed a camper to Bathurst in a V8 HZ and used less fuel than it did by itself
  12. Something I wouldn't do to a road car but you could also redrill the crossmember to move the lower control arms out an inch for more camber.
  13. If you don't mind me asking, what coloured green is that? Like to use it on our human powered vehicle.
  14. drain the oil out of your struts and refill with a heavier oil. cut the springs (yes I said it :D) find some ke26 rear springs as the main leaves are thicker
  15. Maybe the subframe is bent?????
  16. Late November, NOoooooooooooo!!!!!! Have a 24 hour human powered vehicle race to prepare for which is on the last weekend of Nov. and we still havelt finished the vehicle :D Guess I wont be holding the Val up in the Wagon or the Fester (if we can't sell the bloody thing) :D
  17. Cut cut weld weld on one from an other model. This is the only way I think you could get one. I guy from Bendigo VIC had one on his '25.
  18. How I wish all three pile into each other at the start
  19. used to pull 8000+rpm on standard pistons. why change????
  20. After watching how easy Lowndes was doing at Sandown he would be my tip.
  21. Speedo - sounds like you have the wrong drive gear in the gear box. Easiest to get it recalibrated by a speedo specialist. Carbs - they're a factory twin carb set up. Nice find on the car. That only makes 3 I've seen with that dash and I had one of those.
  22. thinking how quiet it is myself 'round here
  23. Sigma GSR's ran 15" alloys that should fit, as did Skyline Siloette's. May need to run a narrow tyre though.
  24. Or early Monaro???
  25. "Go and talk to the people at your local spring works, get the job done properly" Just a word of warning, there are spring makers and then there are spring makers. Be very sure of what you are getting material wise. If they hot coil springs they probably not much better than cut ones.
