  1. try to find a 3kb set up and try that. If you want then adapt the webers to that manifold.
  2. "i have 205/65 r 13's on mazda rims on the rear of my KE25 they are fine but its no KE20 " Mine were fitted to Mazda rims too.
  3. Depends on the rim choice. 205/60/13's fitted under my 20 with a slight lip of the guards.
  4. carby or brake cleaner for the win - just don't get it on your paint
  5. custom cable??? can get them made to any length and ends you need
  6. to fit the 225's on my old KE35 a rubber mallot was used to lip the guards. this also moved them out a bit. What size rubber do you want to run?
  7. be a prick to keep clean - thinking of flat white exhaust paint
  8. Could you put up the TCCA newsletters up each month?? Its good to read about a few of the old faces.
  9. Yeah havent been a member for a while but the club meets are a good night out and the motorkhanas at Weribee rock. PS. is Batch still a member???
  10. Congrats mate. Get your sleep cause your gonna need it!!!!!!!! PS. Need some pics
  11. ^^^^^^^ ditto
  12. probably a diesel spill - they suck when its wet
  13. These were the specs I had in my '20 Wade 169 the specs are: Lift (at lobe) - 0.269" Ex opens - 75deg closes 36deg Inlet opens - 41deg closes 70deg This cam was great in a 5k with a good power range and the ability to hit 8000rpm if you were feeling nasty.
  14. Don't get too carried away with big cams in motorkhanas. Cause you will be on and off the throttle all the time, you don't want to be waiting for the engine to come on to its cam. The old mans 4k was like this and it sucked. Was it going to bog down or was it going to spit you around in a circle (stuffed if I know what the specs were but it came on HARD at 4000rpm).
  15. had no issues with replica panels on my ke35 (2 guards & bonnet), but that was close to 12 years ago.
  16. Always found mine a bitch to read located where the clock was. Tried to make mine look factory though by painting the needle to match the rest of the guages. From memory had to make a spacer to locate the tacho in the right position.
  17. Look like a set of chromies - popular in the eighties as they were cheaper than proper alloys. Not many around now as they usually rusted as the chrome was crap.
  18. Don't know about KE70 strut tops but KE30 strut tops needed a lot of work to fit the KE20 strut towers.
  19. My old man had a lot of dealings with them through his work so I guess I had a foot in the door when it came to my old HZ.
  20. Could you fire off the info to me as well Clown. Had dealings with one a few years ago and found no probs but I can't remember the name (corner of Mair and Peel St). Did a great job and gave me a fair discount.
  21. looky looky This link may help.
  22. A pair of Stratos recliners almost bolted straight in. Grey vinyl and old school enough not to stand out like dogs balls. came with adjustable lumbar support and headrests etc. Came out of a truck :(
  23. If you are after a bolt pattern change, fit the ke30 axels into the ke20 housing after machining a little bit off the axels. If not, don't bother.
  24. rears - commodore wagon or early monaro
