The red line was only a guide obviously. Try to find the video of the Celica chasing a Camaro across the top of the mountain. I love being old and remember watching Bathurst when it was a proper race :)

Data Logging- Anyone With Experience/electronic Knowledge?
coln72 replied to altezzaclub's topic in General Mechanical

First Project Ke30, Need Advice On Good Engine Choice
coln72 replied to First rolla 101's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
Put it this way, a slightly modded 5k (cam and carbs) in a KE20 was quicker around the Ballarat autocross track than a 4AGE ke35. 5K = 1.5L instead of 1.2L of the 3K. -
Ke20 Suspension Help!!! Need Detailed Info...maybe Photos.
coln72 replied to verde2002's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
From what I can see, it looks very similar to one of our old KE20's. Door trims are identical, cracked dash identical ;) -
Between you, Brian, Batch and Jim I never really got a look in once I was kicked out of the novice class :(

Nice find on the wheels. ROH Hotwires by the looks. Reasonably common down under back in the day. Bigger sizes, 15x10's etc, are being remade. -
Was thinking that a while back. Be good for a few shits and giggles to run Novice again. Rob, blow the cobwebs off REDRWF for old times sake ;)

Broke another headlight cover the other day. No worries, have a couple spare in the shed. Chances of breaking the same side three times in a row must be low. Go and check. You guessed it. Broken the same side three times in a row :( so the two drivers side covers I have are useless... Need to cough up another load of $$$$$ to the dealer for another pair

Nah, just shitty old retreads. Were not man enough for the job. Ask Batch about what happens when you run Formula Ford tyres, really really stiff rear springs on a KE25 and add a concrete surface ;) He probably wont tell you that the rear tyres jumped about a foot in the air when he grabbed the hand brake. He spent a bit of time flipping most of his rear leaves the right way up after that...

Plenty left on those. Back in the days of the Dandy saleyards, had a tyre to the wires in two runs...

Any need for two posts on the same subject in two areas :notimp: -
and 5k's LOVE a cam regrind. No need to change to solid lifters, just get your cam reground to suit the hydrolic lifters.

Bugger. Always next year. I'm not surprised re. the generosity of the TCCA club. In my experience it has always been like that if anyone had a problem.
