  1. Just need to find away to drive the wheels at the "right" end of the car and you would be set ;)
  2. 5k all the way!
  3. Better get it tuned right before the first motorkhana of the year
  4. Be a bit of a mongrel.......
  5. Dunno, free breaky wasn't too bad.
  6. Wasn't a borgy, but we also used to weld the gears to the diff carrier as well as to each other.
  7. Stop typing and get it I the car will ya :P
  8. Slight issue - no corolla. Stares at Festiva in drive way and starts thinking......
  9. Common, you still had a 1000 to go.... :P
  10. Cheapest and easiest. - wind your windows down :P May be able to find a rolla with air if you look hard enough at the wreckers and buy the car to transfer it over, but would be a prick of a job to do. Not be cheap either as it would need to be regassed.
  11. Congrats again to you Luke and all of the TCCA members. It ain't easy to pull of a class win let alone to be consistent enough to win the championship. Mmmmmm, Batch has won three in a row. Almost enough to tempt me to come out of retirement ;)
  12. Yeah, when I moved up to C class I had some guy called Rob that was sorta handy in a Ke25 :P Batch and a few others were in there as well.
  13. My 5k (high comp, twin carbs, extractors and 2" system) powered KE35 was still accelerating at 100mph. Backed off then. Shit myself when the windows got sucked off there rubbers....
  14. Congrats on the novice win. Don't think I ever did that.
  15. Probably a good idea but my 5k would be pulling 7500+ With no balancing.
  16. Early Mazda. RX3 rims will fit but need to take a bees dick out of the centre bore or they will jam on. Early RX7 alloys will also fit with similar mods. 185/60/13's will fit nicely.
  17. Funny, the missus says the same thing in the car to me.....
  18. Batch hitting flags, I like it. Henry got to much go for him...
  19. Woohoo. Hope he was pissed
  20. Factory twin manifold. Good luck finding an air cleaner but some one on here may have a spare stashed away. I welded standard corolla air cleaner bottoms into a cheap pair of aftermarket chrome air cleaners on mine. There are some pics under mytoy ke20 in the rides forum.
  21. Body color or gloss black
  22. We reset a pair of springs ourselves using a hydrolic press. Straightened the main leaf so it was 2" lower. Sat heaps lower than this with the weight of the car on it - just off the bump stops. The springs curved the wrong way. Ended up cutting these in half to regain some travel. Felt my 20 was too stiff as I was chasing a lot of oversteer, like third gear looking out the drivers window slides. Removed the rear bar which helped, but still taily on dirt. Softening up the springs by taking out all but two leaves worked well for my purposes. If you search mytoy ke20 you should see some pics of the springs
  23. More to being soft in corners than springs. Are your shocks shagged? Bushes ok? A decent set of shocks will go a long way. Maybe a rear anti roll bar.
