  1. Don't worry. My wife also worried about my safety.. or that I am well insured!. This is a learning proccess for me. I have built kit-cras, but nothing from the ground up. It has been frustrating, but also fun as hell.
  2. IU currently have about a gazillion projects :D Actually just 2 right now that are being worked on. The Toystar V8 MR2 and the RSGT MK1.5 My main website is so out of date. I will be working on it soon. The V8 MR2 is on hold while I save my money. I am currently getting ready to build a new house on some land we own (where my shop is) and selling my current home. So my wife will have me doing fix it crap. I have everything to put the engine together. But I do kot want to have the rings sitting inside the engine in Virginia for too long. We have pretty high humidity here. So the engine will be the last thing put together. Gotta redo the suspension. Mt 3sgte MK1.5 is my current street legal car. I blew it up at a track day, so gotta get it moving again. kinda sucks to run the largest MR2 club on earth and not have a working MR2...
  3. and here is the car that 2.0 turbo is going into. Powered by a ATS CT27 turbo, TED Components 264 cams and lots of other normal boltons.. hp is expected to be close to 300rwhp. The car is a lightened 1986 aw11. ST165 front brakes, and I am going to try and fit ST165 rears on as well.
  4. yep... the front end is being completely redone using a pre-made indycar style suspension / subframe made by a well know hotrod maker here in the US. The shocks will be in the frunk, so no more struts. The rear is also being done by another shop. A custom aluminum sub-frame is being built with the proper suspension geometry. I have never claimed to be a fabricator, as noted by your post about my rear suspension. And I was never happy with it. I know where my weaknesses are and where I should stay away from playing :D The goal of the car is to actually go 200mph. Now I have taken a break from the car. I am having to save up my cash for the front and rear... which is going to cost over us$6000. But in the end it will be safer and actually work. Now until then I am building another car, a MK1.5, 350hp 2 liiter 3sgte. This is where i am as of last night... just have one more mount to make, and then I can put the real engine in (the one fitted is an empty 3sge for test purposes, easier to move an empty engine than a fully prepped one) http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day1/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day2/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day3/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day4/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day5/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day6/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day7/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day8/index.htm http://www.racingstrong.com/RSGT/day9/index.htm
