so once everything is out i got all that sussed been having at look.. the only thing i got to get my head round is connecting it to the manual casue I'm not wanting to run the auto box in the other car. what is todo there?? thanks man I'm ready todo this now =D

hey guys, I'm thinking of buying another corolla. to save the trouble of getting the engine tunned or what ever ( only casue I'm spent money on getting my 3k fixed n running sweet) i was planning on swapping my current 3k out of my ke30 which has an auto box and swapping the engines over, both engine wil be 3k's. the 3k which run of the auto box will be going on to a manual. i have no time during the week due to work and the only time i would ahve to do it is over the weekend.. I'm not to mechanicaly minded but know how to do bits n piece ( i aint stupid other wise) what would i need to do the swap and how much time would it take? CAN I DO THIS??? any help would be really helpful thanks cam

hey guys i got it all degressed.. $15 later the major oil leak fixed... it was the oil pressure switch.. but i also noticed that there was a little oil leaking from here. unsure what it is or how to fix it... any info would be sweet, cheers

just the block... i reakon tomorrow I'm gonna degresse it AGAIN n drive it then sus it out a bit further?? where can i buy seals from?? and could i do this my self?? :hmm:

yeah thats the area i was tryin to descride (sorry) and i am sure that there is oil coming from soem of the tubes.. i was thinkinf of take it tot he mechanic to replace the seals or doing it my self.. but then i ahd the idea of to replace the 3k with a little upgrade to a 4 or 5?? thanks for the fast replys guys

id say like 3-4 inch diameter.. yeah i gave it a good degreese the other day n the lower half of the engine seems to have a light coat of oil on it... but under the car is satched of oil... i filled it full of oil a week later it was empty... cheers

my 3kc is pissin out oil.. ill park my car some where for a decent hour come back n there a small pool of oil... suggestion on where to look?? seals etc,, cheers :hmm: cam

can i ask what kind of paint you used?? what brand of can etc.. my ke30 is in primer need it painted fast. car looks F*&Ken sweet man.. top job Would a pressure hose when washing do any damage to the paint casue its just a can job?? cheers man

doesnt matter were its earthed does it?? i got the wire from the amp already from the bonnet to the boot so just hook it up to that n rewire the amp... to easy

hi I'm doing the old battery in the boot.. and what guage wire should be used?? would it be the same wire that is used to power your amp?? i think thats like 8g but not sure... any info would be great and anything else i might need to know about the relocation.. cheers cam

hey.. I'm considering paintin my 30 can some please give me just a 1,2,3 guide on what to do!!!! i was just going to strip the paint of with either a sandblaster or a grinder with a wire disc then prime the car using can primer or is it better todo with a spraygun?? and then later down the track when i have more time, paint over the primer.. please help only have next week to have this done?? PERSONAL OPION - is it worth painting the engine bay?? worth the hassel??? thanks heaps cam

yeah i sussed the eath out.. well the two locations i can see where it is earth out in the boot and there fine.. so ill get a new bulb today n if that doesnt do it well I'm lost..

you wouldnt believe it but i just through a tube of the exact stuff out yesterday... haha i know it price but it brings ya chrome up like new... looks like its another tube of that... cheers mate :P

hey.. i want to spray my head black is it as simple as removing the head painting it n putting it back on.. i know i need to use a certain type of paint etc.. removing the head - is it just taking out the two bolt on the top of the head at either end?? I'm very new to cars but I'm getting along.. :P cheers
