thanks for all the positive feedback. the engine is simply a temp one before we bolt in a 4age. Sbox- the smoke was coming out before the service, but only started up like a few days ago. KE30 KE35 KE 55- we checked and used the correct oil for the motor, and if it is blowby, its one Fvck load of blow by! HRV-00S- i checked them and they were looking a bit worse for wear, it may be that -We also want to know what the deal is with getting registration with a KE70 with a 4AGE transplant? This keeping in mind its a 1981 ke70 and hasnt had registration since 2004.

tas ae71- it is possible that we spilled water/some oil durign servicing, but the white smoke is clearly coming from where the sparkplugs are housed. I tihnk new sparkies might fix it though :)

Me and a friend recently bought a 4 door KE70. have been reading this forum and its fkn awesome, probably the most informative car forum on the net to date. :) well anyways down to buisness. The Car is in pretty good condition, and today we decided to give it a service. changed battery, most fluids, filters, battery and so on.. white smoke has been emitting from where the sparkplugs go in, like enough to make concern. we suspect that its either: -worn sparkplugs -head gasket about to depart -engine running too lean (checked carby and its set ok) -or that the engine is simply getting old, and a possibility of oil mixing with petrol and burning off whitish smoke. any help at all much appreciated
