  1. AE86 JDM T series Diff should do the trick, know a few people who have them in Aus but you won't be able to make them part with em! You'll need the Jap spec dual circuit booster too though that's exactly what we want, but there like trying to find a kangaroo in AUS that doesn't bounce. we have in the back of the corolla, AE86 disc brake setup with axles, but with ke70 centre(was made up) breaks axles, the ke70 splines are just a little weak for rallying. was looking to spend up to a grand, maybe more for LSD one. rally car has no brake booster, has a balance bar so no problem there. if you hear of one lets us know
  2. we run the rally car on PULP in events but when just testing or running around in it, ULP is what's in it, doesn't ping on either fuel, would love to use avgas again,f@$kEN cams banned using avgas in rally cars. our static compression ratio is about 9.5:1 but our true compression ratio is about 12:1. with no signs or detenation.
  3. tony tells me that the problem is you've got the early setup, there is a later version and he'll post when he finds the link. what the problem is the early setup is for small hard drive and doesn't support todays larger drives.
  4. anyone can import a 15 year and older car, you just have to get an import approval. they give those out to anyone. i've got a couple of mates who do imports from japan and they say is not hard to import if it's 15 years and older. i'm seriously looking at bring a starlet in, would have to be a KP60-61. BRING ON THE IMPORTS.
  5. hi i'm chris, (Tony's brother and mechanic),aka TRD ke70 i think everyone knows the corolla, for those who don't. KE70 rally car(scottmotorsportz) 5k with TRD upright kit. what a great bunch of guys and girls.
  6. it's in the kelford cams chart, there's a small mark beside it. cam chart i'll PM request for a sticker soon.
  7. this isn't for a stock engine!!! f@$k you'd be lucky have the thing idle under 3000. i used the kelford f18 grind in my starlet and it was magic, have also tried a f 18 grind, has more lift but wasn't happy with it. i'd be interested in one of those stickers, or "it's not a f@$ken datsun asshole" sticker sorry MEL :D
  8. yeah i know warren burt,he was a starlet guru, had a starlet that was timed over the flying quarter at 135mph(i think) anglia heads!! i have a mate in Timaru that has a lot of old shit like that. can you check to see if you can still buy AE86 axles, we're trying to find a disc brake diff for the ke70 but it's like trying to find a virgin in a whore house. cheers
  9. what do you mean? i slowed down for you. would have gone a lot faster if hadn't seen WEZ with no clothes on!!!! :D
  10. how many epc disc's do you have? i don't think we have any Supersede disc's.
  11. this was meant for you but you blew the turbo so who was next i wonder. poor Tony is still having nitemare's.(doesn't want to get in to the rally car again) nude fans
  12. 15 year and older is still going, here's the link import 15+
  13. it's not Tony it's chris,HI MEL, but Tony does read this forum.
  14. we have video footage of SOMEONE on the rollaclub with a T-shirt over her head in stage 4 of rally Gallangowan. wonder who that was?????
  15. yip know them well, they also built an early celica with a 1g-ge with a turbo fitted to it. bruce drove it. f@$ken small world, allan dunne use to have a lot of info for starlets and corollas.
  16. thanks for that haven't seen that one before, i'm heading back to nz sometime this year, might have to buy one and import it.15 year and older. really cheap to buy one as well. i still have a rev counter dash from jap kp60 S at home.
  17. you must have been talking to John spencer, he was at otago rally last year. thanks to him we have a different format for our last rally of the year here in brisbane. speaking of rod millen, we were at ashley forest hill climb when he broke the minute barrier in the 4wd rx7,i was there when Trev Parmenter broke both axles off the line in 1994(i think) use to work for him. we done a 1.16.3 with no slippery and standard gearbox in our ke70 in 1990.got second to peter booth and bruce saxton from Dunedin. ah the old days, when there were shit loads of corollas around.
  18. tony saw on the southside about 12-13 years ago a blue 3 door, chased it but stopped when taking a short cut he realized he was going down a one way street the wrong way(f@$ken rally drivers) :D
  19. i know of 2 in brisbane northside, white kp62, and red kp60-61 5 door(haven't seen the 5 door) but i have seen the white one, boondall area.
  20. does any know how many k starlets are in AUS and were are they?
  21. i'm up for that!! i know how to make bombs
  22. V8 owners hate 4 cylinder turbo cars that KICK THERE ASS!!! even better when driven by a girl :D
  23. we have thought about that as the entry fee's here are stupid, you pay $465 for 160km's, as nz was under $200 for a lot more km and the roads don't f@$k your car. most of the trd stuff i've looked at or bought from the states has been from Rod Millen. Ah Timaru Rally, worlds greats rally roads are in nz. look forward to catching up and talking some shit.
  24. yip they are, but you have to know how left foot brake, well known for understeering badly with the power on, my money is on the AE86 in twisty stuff but the EXA will kick ass on the straights. if he's smart he'll remove the rear bar for side ways traction.
  25. dead right, it depends on what it's going to be used for, big numbers are great for the race track but f@$ken useless in a rally. street engines i reckon should be drivable,a 7k in a lite corolla would be fun to drive.
