the injectors may need cleaned, if the engine hasn't been on petrol for a while. If it is running good on CNG then it is fuel related, this could mean your ECU is not right and needs to be changed. It's not a good idea to use a ECU for a different engine. Try to find yourself an ECU for a 7KE.

Same happened / is happening in the Gemini's and the Excels. The more money you spent, the faster you went.I remember some one spending $$$$ on pro-flex and Kumo's, not to mention a smart mechanic to tighten up the open diff. If you spent good money on shocks, etc over the next guy, there was a way better chance of you winning. Beerhead, the problem with that is the 70 has a way better back end in it!! Unfortunately most motorsport will always be like that, the people with the big money will be at the top. For me it's about the competition. And the next question is: why would we want to turn rallying into sometime like the V8's, boring!!

It's all good. Yeah it's a 5k head D piston type/ shallow combustion chamber type. If i remember rightly there's a hole in the gasket for it!!

It's a locating lug. Most heads have had this removed.
