no they arent, we use water base, very rarely we use solvent based. only a few colours that we do as the waterbased version looks terrible when colour matching, one that comes to mind is a goldy brown statesman. other than that all water based.
there a pretty hefty dent in drivers side guard? or that just the pictures? looks pretty damn nice, clear over base is a very good system!! we use it for all metallic's but solids generally don't. very rarely that we do, easier to only have to paint a panel once (twice if you have to wet on wet or plastic prime) than two or three times! is your paint water based or solvent based?
tow the car down ther, make it look all pretty
if its becoming painful to own the car and u really want to freshen things up deff look into something else! RX8's and Liberty's are both very nice!
monster tachos are gross! was a starlet at work with one i was loling the whole time i drove it!
i had a 2" speco one in my 55 was more than enough but then i needed something small enough for the clock hole, was a pretty penny thou! and then did my other dials to match!
last year the police were very nice, they were mostly interested in a certain ke70 that had already been defected but was on a permit for the day.
there were some major defectable cars that were driven to the event, 2 drift cars with about 20mm clearance all round so I'm sure you needn't worry!
windows that break suck, my power window reg has a snapped wire so its held up with wood and zipties lolz. can't go thru drive thru or anything it sucks ass! if i want the window down i have to look like a dick with the passengers side one down!
shed going up soon then some work will happen on the rolla I'm sure, taken a paycut so will be slower now, but once the shed is up means i can finally strip her all down and start to rub her back and get her straight.
no worries i did do this stuff while at school and now I'm a spray painter big change but i do love it.
but yeah if you are after anything else i can give it a go, not as skilled as i used to be.
got some vertex sideskirts and lookin at gettin just a front lip and thats about it, as I'm not into big flashy bodykits.
i think it got a bit warped today in the sun as it was in the tray of a ute all day so it looks shitty fit but it isnt when you hold it properly.
EDIT: had to take the front mudflap off to test fit, then continued to take the rest off as they look so damn tacky!!
i would imagine there would be an idle pickup for the aircon to stop it stalling but I'm unsure i know in my 55 the revs used to drop and i would have to keep my foot on the accelerator a bit to stop it from stalling but thats because there was no idle pickup or it didnt work, perhaps you have a faulty idle pick up or something?
