  1. Hmm I know people generally like running 14's with anything they can get cheap from their local tyre shop If you keen best place to search around is AE86, few KE's drifting on that site
  2. I am pretty sure what size tyres isn't going to depend on having a locked diff or heavy suspension, but on what rims your running :P I might be missing something here . . . but thats probably your best start at getting some help.
  3. AE86 struts with RX7 upgrade . . minimum 15" rim I think. I don't know a hell of a lot about it . . but apparently it does it job for big brakes. Probably need other stuff to accompany it like rear end brakes, brake bias, master upgrade etc
  4. Could be keen for tomorrow night if you end up going. As long as it isn't raining to much . . . :D
  5. So new rear springs ordered. Should have them in this week. And new rear tyres ordered and hopefully in and all sorted Friday. About the only thing left to do with suspension is an adjustable panhad rod, but that will be more of an accessory . . so not to sure yet and maybe Corona LCA's. Besides that its pretty much hunky dory and should grip through the corners pretty nicely :hmm: Cheers Fusion
  6. Theres about 6 for sale atm on either this site or AE86 :hmm: And they are in SA
  7. If you can't wait around for any users . . . try City Distmantlers

    Spotted

Spotted a nice blue KE70 with a sunvisor driven by a pair of eldery's near Parafield Airport. It was nice getting a wave from them for driving a Corolla :y:
  9. I didn't think it was you . . . didn't look your kind of style. And I knew you had put in springs, but I meant as an overall setup suspension wise. Thought you said you haven't upgraded much due to money and no need for it now *shrug And with the way that car was handling and going through some of the passes . . . you would of had to of had some decent setup Yeah issues all sorted. Cooling now stays about 1/3rd through the guage and sticks there so I'm happy with that. Also got new castor arm bushes and 24mm front adjustable swaybar in with some modifications. It seems to be going alright, but I really need new rear tyres . . . Bridgestone just don't cut it :y:
  10. So over 2 weeks later the car should be getting some work done tomorrow. - Another radiator (recored and all redone) - Radiator cap - Radiator hoses - Thermostat (never had one) - New gaskets - New water housing - New coolant - Brake caliper bolts So fingers cross it fixes her up so I can get her back on the road. Also been able to install some front end bushes while she was off road. Hopefully handle a little better to after a wheel alignment and new rear tyres Cheers Fusion
  11. Ha I'm on DSL 2+, and there has been problems with the actual serving hosting not my connection  Didn't know there was a problem with that Mystik, shit just happens sometimes
  12. When Tom posted, the image above with the details wasn't showing. I have also had problems with other images from . . .Photobucket I think. So it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't displaying for him either Looks like a nice cruise . . .and on a Sunday! If my cars back together I just might consider it
  13. Might be down for maintenance or something. Pretty sure it had a few bots infiltrating their site yesterday.
  14. Any updates Taz? Be good to see how the little one is going
  15. Lows are a good street level I personally think. I had a mate who accidentally got super lows and he had massive scrub issues :sob: And not just on the guards :sob: Good memories I have Lovell Lows in the front of my AE71 and they seem to do the job nicely. Sits above the tyre, but its more a street lowered height than anything else. I know others would want to go one or two coils lower I would reckon.
  16. Tequila is in order? With the worm? :sob: Happy Birthday Raven!
  17. Sleeeeeper FTW
  18. I have some stockies here with good tread. Only problem is I am near Regency Road area
  19. Soo . . . . Under the car this morning and I take a random look at my front strut, only to notice my brake claiper looks a little funny. I realise its only being held on by one loose bolt . . . :y: Things just get better and better :y:
  20. So . . . is this going to be a towing powerhouse :y: Or is the tow bar not going to last long? Also I could kind of imagine straight pipes on a angle, on this thing, would be a unique look :y: Loving the colour though
  21. Not yet, I will try next week though. Need a camera first :y: But I got all the wiring done, with relays, fuses and switches. Only main problem is the beaver / front apron panel can't support the weight, so I am making up a support brace. If you want one before hand I could always send one to your mobile (just need your number) And yeah, hoping its an easy fix. Just drove her home from spending the day alone in a strange neighborhood . . . poor Dicey . . .
  22. Soo . . . driving along today, nothing serious and all of a sudden the temperature gauge goes right up to the top and dumped all the coolant. I am hopping its just the thermostat jamming shut, but I am getting a mechanic mate to check it out. Yey :y: :y:
  23. Cheers Matt  Picking up all the parts needed for my Soarer fog lights tomorrow. Hopefully install them this weekend before my next hills run. If anyones looking for a handy diagram, I found this one through Google: Fog Light Installation Also my Weber setup arrived and looks to be all smick :y: Trying to see if I can get a mate to install that aswell this weekend. Cheers Fusion
  24. It is an electronic setup I am pretty sure. So you will either have to find an electronic dizzy or get a points setup. Maybe try Sleeka Spares. Dave there sometimes has the handy parts 8/
  25. O god your not serious 8/ Thats not good at all. If you have problems like Benzo is saying I would recommend doing it once and doing it right. Get yourself a TA22 diff, get the leaf spring mounts swapped over, get some more high tensile bolts for the driveshaft to diff and than go out and have some fun  If you need some help I'll see what I can do for you
