Yeah, its pretty bad what people do! My parkers where stolen whilst my car was parked. Could not believe it!

Ah yeah I might of worded it wrong. He could lock it up easy with a TA22, but have the option for an LSD in the future if he wanted it. And mainly suggesting a TA22 instead of something like a KE30, because I know mine blew really quickly with the 3TC and I pretty much babied it around after that

You know what. I reckon you could do a TA22 T seires diff if you were keen. You would need a custom tailshaft and get mounting points moved I reckon. However this leaves the option for an LSD down the track and will easily handle the 3TC. It was what I was going to do in the KE30 :wink: Cheers Fusion

2 Months later and finally an update :wink: Haven't been able to generate much income lately, so its been hard to sort out replacement parts. Pick up the parts tomorrow and getting them installed on Thursday. - AE86 Struts - Koni AGX short stroke shocks - 220mm 6KG front spring - AE86 PS arms - XT30 LCA's re-bushed and re-balljointed - QFM Brake Pads - New wheel bearings - 30mm RCA's - New tie rod ends Should make the front alot better. Also while my car was parked on the street people thought it would be funny to steal my parkers and rip off a bump strip . . .with paint. So slowly had to fix that up to :wink: Also been given the option of dropping a 2TG in with EFI and an aftermarket ECU. Its already had a bit of work done internally so it would hammer pretty hard for a 1.6L. Just got to sort out the money issue :hmm: Cheers Fusion

A T series engine will take a T50 easily. A K series engine will take a T50, but it will need a rare bellhousing (depends if your talking to Taz or not :y: ). If you want a 5 speed for this, you will need a K50. Now a K50 from a KE70 won't fit properly. You will need to cut the shifter hole in your cabin. Therefore you want a K50 from a KE55 or KE30 so it lines up all nicely. Are you doing the engine work yourself? Or are you getting someone else to do it?

Haha funny you link that towe001. You reminded me of a race track . . in the outback of SA I think. Miners have crazy times there. They had a setup very similar to that filming cars going around the race track. Was very cool

They cost a bit because they are more of a one off production. You might get a price decrease if you get a group buy going. If you want to know about them anymore I think Taz Rx ordered from that NZ place through another member.
