  1. Another tip for taking out tar . . . wear a f***ing mask . . . I think I got a throat infection from smoking to much tar *cough cough
  2. Awww lol All she needs now is red racing paint . . . another 50HP at the wheels easily . . with those body repairs she's gonna smoke her rears dumping into 2nd :hmm: And Raven I reckon you should do the hill route to Loberthal (sp?) and down back to TTP. I have been there lately a couple of times for my L's and its great fun to learn how to hill drive. :2thumbs:
  3. Cus your slow we will give you a . . . "small" (cough cough) head start compared to all of us :hmm:
  4. Well it will all be weighed up in the end . . . especially for Redwarf and Androio :hmm: Should have it done by Friday if I get off my lazy butt
  5. Man the feeling you get after smoking tar . . . its not healthy I tell ya :hmm: O and the car will be sent away to the Auto Electrician for stripping and custom electronics. That should help a bit :2thumbs:
  6. Haha who said I'm driving it silly Bianca :D I might bring the tequila mascot along to if he has spare time :) O and I might be getting my P's in early March if I am motivated enough . . . so its close :)
  7. Got a backup plan if someone can't figure out to get to the final destination? :D And I want to see who can dodge the speed cameras the best Sounds like a fun cruise . . . hopefully we get a few SA rolla's there this time :) And hopefully the KE30 will be running by than :)
  8. With the amount of cops or unmarked cop cars around SA at the moment do you blame me for not wanting to break to speed limit :D
  9. I reckon I got a great start for my L's. like towe said, I started the first two lessons in an automatic from my dad in the back streets, which taught me how to control a car firstly. Than I progessed into the lighter feeling corolla which was a manual. Yet again I learnt in the back streets with lots of twists and turns so I could get use to down gearing and up gearing at appropriate points. After that I progressed onto open roads, where it was really quite easy. However people do s*&t me off. They think because I am an L plater that I am going to slowly. So they will either pull out in front of me, making me brake hard or swerve in a couple of cases, or rev past me and give me the flick for doing a little over the speed limit. Bah! :D
  10. Hoping thats the case . . . cheers Mystik :D
  11. Anyone know about the changing of colour to a car and what would be required by law to make it all 'A' ok? I will ring up on Monday if no one knows the answer . . . I'm guessing the least would be to notify them as it doesn't affect any part of the cars performance or saftey.
  12. JAC cruise might be on in a month it seems. Hopefully I will have a rolla ready by than . . . if not its Fishers Celica if we can make it
  13. Nice ride :) For front brakes you could look into RA40 struts or even RA60 as I think their ventilated. For the rears you could keep what you have already, but there might be a better upgrade. Although if you change to a T-18 or TA-22 diff I am pretty sure you would get better brakes. Only thing is your might need to weld on leaf spring mounts. However this would make things easier for a tailshaft to gearbox as the T-series also used the T50, just a different gearbox bell housing. Also look into upgrading shock absorbers and bushes. Your rims would need upgrading to 14" aswell if you get bigger brakes :D Cheers Fusion
  14. Well first it was just a supercharger, but than Fishers old man suggested we also take the route of EFI. Alot of the engine rebuild will be left to the old man as he has alot more knowledge in these matters than we do. Also it was firstly going to be a SC-14, but now it looks like it might be an Eaton SC. So, like alot of things in this business it seems, the engine build won't be finalized till its actually done :) Started taking out the floor tar today . . . lovely job that is :D
  15. No problem, so had I so I was hoping it might help others. That site is the worst to travel through . . . soooo wish they could make it easier
  16. Hehehe well thats what I want the cops to think  A 3TC with a T50 and some kind of extreme clutch plate to our amazement. Exhaust manifold and carby manifold where ditched as I'm heading for extractors and twin Weber's. Also ditched . . . emissions control crap Anyone got a good idea for a radiator upgrade from a KE30 brand new stocker?
  17. Got a little package today . . . a 1.8L engine, I'll let you guys guess what it is for now
