  1. When I hinted a couple of guys had done it, I meant maybe message them and see if they are willing to share their time with you to try and help you with the process :P
  2. A couple of guys on here have done it. And even a couple in the SA region. Search around shouldn't be to hard :P Edit: Did a quick search myself and found some results already :P Be ready for some custom work. If your not handy with a welder be ready to pay for it
  3. Pretty sure its neither. I know its not by name, not by state, not by postcode and not by tax return order. I think its more purely random Still haven't got mine :)
  4. Wrong! The RAXX series came out with R series engine. The ST came with an 18R and the GT came with the 18RG. The TAXX series came out with T series engine. The ST with the 2TC, the GT with the 2TG and another . . . with the 2TB. They are great motors the 2TG. Will rev greatly!!! :)
  5. Adelaide Jap Just Wrecking Toyota Buddy Parts (Jay there seems pretty friendly) City Dismantler (would not recommend them though . . seen the way the haul motors around first hand :P) Sleeka Spares (Dave is an awesome bloke) etc etc
  6. The T50 won't work unless you use a 4A bellhousing. That is ofcourse with me assuming you mean you have a T50 with a T series bellhousing.
  7. If you ask around at some of the importers and they don't have any, ask them if its a possibility to get one imported in. Usually if a place doesn't have a part I am after, they just might be able to import one or already have one planned to be imported. Cheers Fusion
  8. They created the yellow pages for a reason :jamie: Even using Google. I regularly do to ring around different importers, especially those specializing in Toyotas. Cheers Fusion
  9. If you get any results, might be handy to put them up for future reference, especially in the SA section :D
  10. I am pretty sure the RAA know of some driver training courses. If you give them a call, they should be able to help you out :D
  11. Pretty sure if you take Raven's advice and ring them up and have a chat about what you would like they just might be able to help you out. Or even better go into their in person. They are pretty nice people to get along with last time I was there getting parts
  12. Probably out on a hillclimb event, but if I am around I should talk some mates into coming
  13. My brother was off his L's and just onto his P's (by about 2 - 4 weeks) and drove all the way to Newcastle from Adelaide. It was a KE70 with about 100,000KM on it. Before he left I changed all the cooling system, got a full service, changed the rear shocks (had a leak) and got all the brakes checked. He said it went absolutely great and couldn't of asked for better :( So I reckon you should be fine :)
  14. What kind of exhaust are you getting fitted? Gotta get a video of it afterwards :hmm: The exhaust place near me that I / mates have used for a while now . . its just a walk in and pick it up later job. I don't think we have ever booked :P

You got another one Queen? Are you seriously trying to buy up all the KE20's in SA or something? I was going for a check out tomorrow morning :P

Just been sold. Apprently the mother in-law had it since 1974 to 2000, until it was passed onto her daughter. The daughter allowed her three daughters to drive it around since than. All the brakes were completely overhauled and so was the engine after an oil leak. Nice pick up :P
  17. Hahaha so true, funnily enough I actually had a 2TG teasing my 3TC in the same workshop! Bastard motor :D Since your in SA, I may be able to help you out a little if you get into trouble. Especially since it will bring back the memories
  18. You must of never had one with twin Webers and 12mm ram tubes :D Best sound ever, so bloody loud  A T18 diff will be wider than a KE30 diff. If you use a TA22 diff it will be same width (I am pretty sure. Just need to change over the leaf spring mounts.
  19. I had a KE30 3TC. Was awesome fun. Things you will need: - Upgraded Diff - Custom tailshaft (some say a stock one can line up fine) - T-50 from the 4AC (If its manual). Need a bellhousing for a T - T50 though and not a A - T50. - Custom engine mounts (nothing to hard) - Might need to customise the gearbox mount (Heard that KE55 Manual bolts up ok) - Modify the radiator (some have just extended the lines and kept the stock positioning of the radiator outlets). - Guessing you already got a Hydraulic pedal box so you don't have to worry about that. I would advise upgraded front brakes, but thats just after my experiences of how hard my went  And like I said it would be wise to upgrade the diff (maybe a TA22 item). I blew my center in about 30mins :D Cheers Fusion
  20. Seen something pretty similar at a workshop I was around. Pretty sure it was running something like an SR20DET aswell :)
  21. It ended up taking me 45 minutes on the phone, thanks to there voice recognition services, just to change my address! Absolutely ridiculous :) If I end up getting the money though . . . either an LCD TV or car audio
  22. Lock nuts can still be taken off, its not going to stop anyone steeling a car :D It is getting a bit sus though  Hope you at least hear some news about it
  23. Ha air filters! As if you wouldn't just use 12mm Ram tubes. Mad induction sound :|
  24. Before I get my piercings I always check with the boss. Lucky thing is hes cool with them :| He doesn't even want me to put clear bars in :D
  25. Still got a mark on the back of my hand from my 3TC
