  1. thanks mate, unfortuantely its taking its time. Will have to have a look at ur thread, sounds like u will have a nice lookin car soon. if anyone has some 10mm or 11mm (12mm at the max) spacers they want 2 get rid of, please let me know!!! Pics: http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/ro...pedFrontEnd.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/rollaguy/Boot.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/ro...icatorHoles.jpg
  2. time for jus a small and quick update. Finally all the bogging and priming is complete, the old indicator holes are now shaved and the boot is also ready for a respray. Got a new ignition coil from a donor car, plus all gauges in instrument cluster have been repainted for a newer look. Figured out i need 10-11mm spacers for the chasers to fit on the front. Unfortunately the painter is bein real slack and car wont b painted for another 1.5 weeks or so, lets hope no longer cause I'm f**kin sick of puttin it off. Pics soon of progress.... :P
  3. heres the donor car. it looks worse in person then it does in a pic lol. i also found a speaker under the dash which mine didnt have, unfortuantely this speaker had a max of 8 watts and it was blown. was quite surprising 2 find one there lol. 4. yeah i was a bit annoyed when the front ones didnt fit. i bought the donor car off my dads client 4 a box of tins lol. thanks man, hopefully it turns out all ok
  5. hopefully start end of this week maybe start of next the spraying will take place, i talked 2 the painter 2day and he is gonna come round and check out what has 2 b done/re-done/fixed etc. then we will tackle it once thats sorted. tryin 2 find some big bastards of wheel spacers as the front wheels are way off fitting properly.... got a nice donor car the other day, same model but so much more rust and damage. wont b able 2 get many parts off it but the engine in it goes oh so well :hmm:
  6. nuh I'm not spraying it myself as i don't have any of the tools required. i have a professional lined up who was also a panel beater which is handy. i also got my chasers some tyres yesterday. cost me $95 per tyre, for tyres, balancing, fitting and valves. heres a few pics of them on the car... New paint (this photo doesnt show the proper colour of the paint but u get an idea) http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/ro...uy/IMGP0767.jpg Wheels http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/ro...uy/IMGP0769.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/ro...uy/IMGP0768.jpg unfortunately i have a problem with the front wheels, i need spacers.... and i think i need big ones too.
  7. lime green paint purchased today, very nice colour, will post pics when i get some spare time....
  8. i always thought that an oil breather went on that pipe infront of where the pcv valve is as that connects to the air filter. but after reading what sammo said it sounds as if they go on the pcv valve pipe, I'm confused.... :hmm:
  9. is it actually a factory colour or r u meanin evryone paints it this colour? i jus think corollas look awesome in a bright green and obviously so does phatke30.
  10. Got a bit bored today so i decided to paint a few things etc. i started by painting the brake calipers red with engine enamel which surprisingly came up pretty awesome. The windscreen washer bottle, overflow tank, ignition coil and the 2 round pieces of plastic up on the sides of the bay (dunno what they are), all these went a nice chrome silver. Due to not having a centre cap 4 my new wheels i decided to paint the small hubs on the drums the same silver to kind of match the mags and not look rusted and crap. Jus look at pics and u will understand what I'm blabbin on bout lol :D http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/rollaguy/Brakes.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/rollaguy/Brakes2.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/rollaguy/Brakes3.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/rollaguy/Drums.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/ro...y/EngineBay.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/rollaguy/Wheels.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/rollaguy/Wheels2.jpg i have finalised the colour i will be painting the corolla and its goin to be a lime green of some sort, will b havin a look next wed or thurs

  20. yeah thats what i was thinkin, i got a parts corolla arrivin this weekend so hopefully that will have good switches along with other parts i need, otherwise I'm gonna have to somehow get to a wreckers
  21. i jus checked out the switches, the rear right has still got spring in it but the other 3 are stuck so they don't spring out when the door opens, i tried CRC on it but they have no spring at all what so ever. so i kno the rear one is buggered cause the good one has some spring....
