gday went to the swapmeet in broadford today and picked up 2 dirt cheap rims in very good condition but after they got a good clean i found this strange marking on the outer rim! does anyone know what it means??

gday its finally time to put in some heavyier valve springs in the good ol 4k for the new cam! now ive heard of people putting in holden ones and that but which ones are people using and why holden ones?? cheers Corey

ohk thanks, i used to drive fwd ae82 4ac and came 2nd outright in juniors last year and now I'm driving me good ol 4k I'm about 4th outrite at the moment, as for the lsd probably wont happen just a locked job will do for a while!! Cheers Corey

ok ill take your advice on that do you think 32/36, cam, port, valve springs and 40 or 60 thou off the head would be nioce?? and i already have extractors! but as for when I'm out of lil grunt what would you advise for bif grunt?? 18rg or 4age?? just so i can save a little inbetween cheers

well so far ive found two heads for bout 150-250 with extractors and about the carby hitting on the brake booster was it the carby or the aircleaner??

Thanks for the info but i just realised that "4ages" has said that he is running his sohc hub!??? this is what he said ""In my SOHC I have the struts from a DOHC with super low King springs, the SOHC hub, the DOHC strut brace and just threw in some OZ tec bushes"" Cheers

yes i no what it is but all the 18rg's that i have seen have got toyota something somthing writin on them but this one has nothing writin on it at all, so i was just wondering if that meant it was a rare rocket cover or a aftermarket one because the guy dosnt really now stuff all about it! Cheers

gday i was at the wreckers today finding a strut brace for my ae82 and while i was looking at it the suspension is alot stiffer and lower so I'm just wondering what would i need to do to fit twin cam struts to ae82 sohc??? cheers Corey

thanks for thr encouragement mate I'm defenitley going to do it but ive just gotta start saving my pennys and i had a look at the engine again but was unable to take rocket cover off as its tightly hidden under his bench but he's geting it out soon so ill find out then, but now the other thing is that the rocket cover dosnt have any writing on it and all the others that ive seen on 18rg's do so whats the go with that?? cheers corey
