  10. Hey guy's pretty new to these forums as I just recently brought a AE82 1986 SECA. I brought it from my dads friend who owns Toyo Spares / Wreckers up sort of near lilydale. Brought the car for $3k, which included 7 months rego + name transfer fee's, RWC and everything that needed to be done for that (new windscreen, front right light, wipers + wiper washers etc) Engine has been reconditioned and had $2.5k spent on it... currently has 15,000km on it the body has 269,000km. Everything's in pretty good condition usual rust in the usual spots no dints or scratches, straight body. Usual so so... Once i got it around 1 week ago i gave it a good wash and wax, installed cheap old stereo dad had lying around + front 4" pioneer's (mid priced ones nothing too special) I also recently brought a 3A Racing Pod and attached that today as you can see from the pics below :P will keep you guys posted on any more mod's but not much will happen for a while as I've gotta save more money for schoolies now ;) hehe.. So there she is
  11. if someone will send it to me i'll upload it to my file server or a friends for a while.. so add me on msn or some where as i really need it :/ [email protected]
  12. Hey guy's i recently brought a 3A Racing pod filter off ebay as i wanted that nice pod air induction noise and well yeah tongue.gif I've got a few questions though before i go trying to tear apart my new ae82 and install it... #1 What left over plugs, sensors and so forth will there be once i remove my air box and what should be done with these to ensure my car still runs smoothly ie drill a hole into my 3" pipe and plug them into that such as any sensors ? i really have no clue what needs to be done.. #2 after removing the box where should i run the pod too ? obviously the engine bay as it'd just be sucking in hot air.. so the next spot is up the front but exactly where ? where is the easiest place to run piping too and some where safe where the pod wont get extremely dirty or wet. I was thinking of just using PVC to begin with till i could afford some good piping to use. I also REALLY don't want to have to move anything thats already there.. so far the only thing I've thought of is exploiting the cold air intake hole that the air box currently uses and put my pod some where through there.. some pictures or drawings would really help me out here guys. #3 where would i find the usual parts such as silicon bends / joins and etc required ? bunnings or mitre 10 ? or super cheap / auto barn ? Thanks for the help guys really appreciated.. i just didn't wanna start ripping apart the engine bay with no clue on what to do post plenty of pictures of ae82 pod setups if you have any cheers !
  13. Yeah if someone could email me it , it'd be greatly appreciated. [email protected] cheers
