FWD Demon

hey guys. today was a clod wet day (as I'm sure it was everywhere) and the 4A-C cut out on me a few times.... i had to keep the revs up at the lights so it didnt stall. is this the same problem? or an auto-choke issue?

wasnt really looking for something that big of an upgrade just yet as this is just a daily car while i fix up my project but the idea of driving a stock car is out of the question lol i just want little bit more from it to give commodore and falcon drivers a scare when leaving the lights :lolcry:

hey guys, I've just picked up a Fwd '85 Ae82 sedan 5sp with a 4A-C 1.6l donk for $200. it's also got "SR" on the firewall which as far as i understand means it has a tweaked cam in it? I've been searching eBay for a short shifter but can only find ones that fit '87 forward. is there one made to fit my car? or will this one fit? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SHORT-SHIFTER-TOYOT...1QQcmdZViewItem also I'm looking for a bit more balls in it and was thinking an upgrade of carby. what would be best with what jets etc? i was thinking a webber but I'm not looking to spend all that much plus I'm looking for something that will bolt straight on with no other mods. or would something else be more profitable? ie exhaust mods? any direction would be greatly appreciated! form the new guy :lolcry:
