wow one hell of an event! We ended up loosing a few cars to various things and winning trophy for best represented club... :y: I bought the hi res pics from united :wink: havent had a chance to look yet :y:

i try n get involved in as much as i can :wink:

we did have an event thread here somewhere, but yeah. Anyway I will be there organising my 16 cars I have entered though the website I run, sydneycruising.com We don't have any corollas entered into this one but we almost did! hehe If you see the stand just come say hi or something, ill be the only girl with the shirt on *typical* Its gonna be an awesome weekend I can't wait!!! P.s I ALWAYS buy united photography's photo cd. I think its a life saver. It means i have pictures of the event of all the important cars etc and all I have to worry bout is the camcorder and the video side of things. I'm big on recording stuff like these weekends. So yeh life savers!

How about Sunday 12th March 12pm Meet at Liverpool Krispy Kremes Cruise to Newport for some picture opportunities I wont have my car there it is being stripped that weekend, but I will probably have my boyfriends supra there. At least its a toyota :jamie: I would have suggested another date but I'd say that my weekends are more busy than everyone elses due to my club duties and car shows and cruise responsibilities, and thats the best time for me. IF anyone can't make that date let me know we can change it but it might be alot later than sooner.

that happened to me one night. was on the pc with my door shut, walked into the lounge room and all i could smell was fire, like id left the iron turned on burning clothes. freaked out! tried smelling all the electricals, the tv, fridge, my pc, my flatmates pc... the lot. couldn't smell it coming directly from anything. and it went away? Must have been a neighbour, but it didnt smell on the balconY :locked:

I am keen to come along and bring rollaclub stickers :) I didnt even know we had any lurkers here :locked: where is everyone based?

Yeah its just weird that it was so severe i thought the car was going to fall apart on me, to completely nothing? thats what had me worrying. I am going to pull the car apart soon anyway, i just would really appreciate figuring it out so i can get brand new parts for it in time to replace it. or at least have some idea of what to look for, so I don't get ripped off by some mechanic :y:

Hi Guys, If this is in the wrong section I'm sorry. Hoping someone can help - car is import, based loosely on gt starlet/toyota paseo. Automatic, 1.5L engine. Car is silent when not moving. Some days, I experience a grinding metal noise coming from the front drivers side wheel. Some days there is clunking that makes the car jerk like backfiring, but its clunking, not backfiring. Some days, the car is completely silent. I am a bit concerned as I DID have a hit at the drivers front wheel back in september of last year, but this has come on within the last week or so. At first I thought wheel bearings or maybe brakes and was gearing up to go get the brake pads replaced and wheel bearings done. Now that the noise has all but disappeared I have no idea what to think :y: anyone?

Totally agree with you on commodore drivers. My ex - classis case in point. Everywhere we would go, he'd want to take the commodore cause its "faster" than my sera. We'd go on a cruise only to have him whinge everyone drives "shtbox 4 cyl" and they are so slow and cruddy. Proved him wrong at the dyno day ... 76 kw LOL

id like to find out how to do this. We have a very similar problem on our forums at sydcru. People don't know how to punctuate.
