The usual issues under the bonnet. Brake master cylinder is leaking in both of them. Needs attention soon because I hate the corrosion on the firewall :y: It's funny having two cars that are so similar though.

It bothered me that she'd be parted out. Thought about fixing her up and then choosing between the 20 and the 25 but I can't part with either of them. So many things to love about both. You're more than welcome to come and try out both the 20 and 25 if you'd like. I have a mate who is about 6ft and he sits comfortably in the back of the 25 every now and then.

Thanks guys. I promise I'll drive both rollas out onto the street tomorrow and take some decent photos. Was looking at them today. They sure make a neat looking couple. Have passenger side door and quarter panel for the 20 on their way as we speak so looking forward to that. Will rub it back to get it resprayed in original colour (coz I love it!) so that the new panels match the old perfectly. Hoping to get all this done before the Bay to Birdwood but we'll see how the finances hold up :). This baby is staying granny spec forever. 25 will be a totally different look. Oke20, your mate's ke20 looks great. I'd love to know more about what he's done to it. The effort you put in is inspirational! RA28GT. I don't know that mine are as tidy as yours is. They're very neat but yours looks amazing. I'd love to get them all together with Mitch's and 13BT's for a photo day.

C'mon Red, don't take it personal. You do a great job around here. I just think the admin team would be far less worn out if members showed a little respect and moderators didn't take some of the off topic stuff so seriously. I am also one who hates seeing "for sale" threads bumped over and over by spammers and sellers alike but the occasional compliment on a really clean example can't hurt anyone. Some of my compliments have been deleted but I respect that and now don't bother to make them. If it upset me I might've pm'ed you but I understand why you've taken that approach and am grateful that you care enough to keep this forum a tidy place. It's 100 times more pleasant here than on spamcity Twincam.org and even ae86dc. Stay on board.

Trev, none of my post was targeted at you. I acknowledge you as one of those knowledgeable contributors and enjoy reading discussions you are involved in. I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way. Furthermore, my husband and I are not amongst the "young" members that you refer to. We've had corollas for years and intend to keep it that way :)

Wow, some of you take yourselves too seriously. There are those who are actually knowledgeable but far too serious and then there are those who talk crap and expect the rest of us to pay attention. Both are a pain in the backside. Topic: "A matter dealt with in a text, discourse or conversation; a subject." Off topic: Anything unrelated to "the subject". Obviously abuse cannot be tolerated. Some of the useless dribble irritates me too so I do the mature thing... ignore it. Most of the moderators are great but there are one or two who get a real ego trip out of having a go at people. One only hopes that in years to come they reflect on how pathetic they were. I've also had enough of the ridiculous "state" stereotypes. My husband and I have attended a number of cruises now, organised by Toyota Car Club, rollaclub and ae82ownersclub, and have caught up with friends who we otherwise would not have "met" outside of the forums. I introduced myself to Lesley at a cruise because I had replied to a post of hers here and recognised her car. Raven and I are friends because we decided to catch up in person following "conversation" here. I followed Benzo a few months ago and we both pulled over to have a chat. Will bought a car from me and me from him. Jason is the ae82 guru who we visit in Sydney along with Mick and the notorious twincam.org Johnny who is a genuine good mate when given a chance. These are just a few examples. We all live very separate lives and I for one am often too busy or too tired throughout the daylight hours to catch up with people. Having said that, we have introduced several members to this forum and/or inspired their interest in corollas in general. One of the things I've learnt: A silent member or a member who refrains from spouting off about all he knows is not necessarily a less knowledgeable or less valuable member. I appreciate the wealth of knowledge here on rollaclub and other forums. I also respect the administration team and am grateful for the job that they do but it has to be said: Good manners go a long way. There is an appropriate way to get a point across. No member should be treated with disrespect. If everyone keeps this in mind, the forum will continue to grow both in quality and quantity.

Hah hah, yes of course! Agree to the Cherry Blossoms too. If my 25 wasn't already kind of pink, I'd dream of the cherrys for her as well. ;)
