well its not all squares like in your diagram unfortunately The accelerator pedal's surface is convex, so i measured it with the ruler sitting from the floor to the middle point of this curve, it's about 150mm its also convex on the sides of the pedals. with the brake pedal pushed in making it about the same level as the accel, its between 700 and 750 mm distance in between. thats from furthest point to furthest point. (_)<->(_) i.e. the shortest distance possible to measure from pedal to pedal distance from top of accel to top of brake is a bit hairy to measure too, its about 150mm do you need more accurate? man my footwell needs a clean

this might be a little bit too weird, but look at it this way: i reckon anyone who SERIOUSLY praises or condemns a car based on its brand name is no more sound of mind than a racist in the KKK. However I was reading the "how to build a tough K engine" thing in the wiki... and it says "Valve seats made after February 1972 are made of hardened steel and are fine for use with unleaded petrol. Toyota Corporate themselves told me this." and my car is a 1981... so.... I should stop bothering with lead substitute? :hug:
