I've seen pics of AE86 utes and to be honest it doesent look right. The back just isnt long enough and shits just out of proportion. Then again, if i ever rolled my car i'd consider it. I agree with the whole 86 worship thing going on. I've had people tell me i shouldnt treat my car like that and sell it to someone who would take care of it. f@$k 'em I say. These people have watched too many option videos, all they see are pretty D1 cars with perfect paintjobs and expensive bodykits. Watch some of the amatuer shit and guess what? banged up boro hachis with miss-matched panels, crooked bumpers, cracked lights. Crashing is part of learning. so what. bash that guard back out, stick that bumper back on and keep driving. </rant>

So my waterpump has decided to take a shit. It seems like its leaking internally and coming out the little drainhole in the bottom so its rather rooted. Is there anything i should know before i go tearing shit apart?? Luckily I kept the whole pump and fan assembly from my old engine so i should be able to just whack it on.

Cheap: T-18 drum diff and driveshaft + aftermarket center. Not Cheap: Japanese AE86 disc diff and driveshaft + aftermarket center. Also FYI: there was a starlet diff on option1 a couple of months ago, you could ask if its still around.

While we're on the topic of tires. Can anyone reccomend a good falken dealer. I'm after some 175/60/14 RT-215 for my car and I'm chasing prices ATM.

You'll find the going rate for most second hand strut braces to be around the $140+ mark. Its sad that most AE86 owners would rather something that said cusco over something that works.
