    Yes Remove the flasher can put a piece of wire between the 2 contacts and the flashers should stay on instead of flashing.

    I found out the paint was just rubbish I ended up spraying my car trailer with it to use it up. This Car I am rebuilding now a 1927 Hudson. I will Probably go back to using Acrylic, I will buy all new products from crash supplies to rule out contamination. Congratulations On the Apprenticeship!!

    Don't waste your Money at Toyota with a car that old. Take it to a older backyard mechanic.

    Yes drive it, there are always plenty of parts along the way. you have more chance finding a KE part at a country wrecker than a part for a new car.

    Doug, I have repaired a few car clocks, they usually have dirt ect slowing / jamming them. blow them out with compressed air.

    A fuel solenoid is a great idea but also loop a relay to a resistor to make the fuel gauge read empty.

    yes thats the idea just don't use anything too soft or plain paper. I have seen paint jobs with finger marks from sanding without a block.

    that will work ok. It will be quiet obvious the low spots will be black. make sure you use a flat board to sand.

    Do a compression test on all 4 pots, remove the filler cap and check for blow bye.

    IT-depends how bad it is bent if it is like the one in my pic its stuffed, If it is just a little bit bent put it on a rack or similar and straighten it yourself endless chains work well. Have a go.

    The thing to remember about Cooma is that is a low rainfall area. I think the snowy-mountains shield it . I Bought 3 1920's cars from cooma in remarkable condition for age. a part or car with less rust has to be good. If you go there take your jumper its a bitterly-cold place.
