    Just check the following it may help. Vacuum leaks, test , clamp brake booster and PCV hoses to test is one of the needle and seats stuck? Have you connected both fuel cut offs up? is one of the secondarys stuck open.

    It looks like a good job, once re kitted you will have confidence in your brakes.

    well he was on the right track it looks like he can weld ok? the left looks like an easy fix maybe you should fabricate the patch yourself pop rivet in place then get your mate to weld it practice the left first ready for the right.

    WTF ? the cut out is a little rough but can be fixed, You just need to take a bit more care fabricating some patch's to fit the holes if in doubt do smaller patch's.

    I use to own a VX commodore the rear wheel alignment regularly looked just like that as i regularaly towed car trailers, about 4 camber kits and six sets of scrubbed inside edged tyres later I sold it. I did learn not to open the rear doors with a load on after a while too.

    Also watch out for the ethanol blend on freshly painted acrylic paint as it damages it

    For a cars that are about 30 years old you have to expect some rust, but what is interesting is I have seen more rust free Ke30/Ke55 corollas than some other makes. I have never seen rust free Nissan 200B.

    If this a 4ac engine with Bosch alternator . My 4ac seca had a 80 amp alternator fitted so you should be able to find one easy at any wrecker. if not they can be rebuilt very easy by fitting the stator and rotor from a larger capacity Bosch alternator into your housings. late Ke55 also ran bosch alternators for the australian content to save on import tax..

    the std alternator should be fine. the dull light is sometimes caused by a bad connection, try cleaning the battery terminals first and test again. sometimes caused by corrosion between the two alloy housings and the stator of the alternator.

    check plugs, check compression, check catalytic converter hasn't disintegrated or blocked the exhaust.

    power washer from super cheap $100, does not count you can use as much as you want, I waste like $14 at a coin opp car wash. the river Murray is down 1meter we will see car roofs before the end of summer.

    You have to love visa as-well , a few years back I signed up for a garage kit 22 x 50 and the firm garage world, they went bankrupt, visa refunded my deposit of $1200. got to love that protection.

    how bad is this vibration will it ripple a cup of water? For the ultimate smooth engine balance flywheel bolted onto the crank in a lathe. IF it was a trimatic they run a guide in the end of the crank to locate the torque converter is that still in ? or maybe some back yarder has machined the flywheel clutch face or the engine was dropped.

    I hate the people that overtake pull in front of you then turn within 20 meters , then they take so long turning left your forced to brake.

    set it up so it cuts out about 10mm from the top any more and it will flood.
