  2. If you think its a hose leak get your oil can and put a bit of oil on the join see if it disappears or quietens the noise. don't use soapy water that is just plain stupid.

  4. they are removed and installed with a simple service tool very similar to a drift/ punch and a hammer,if you have access to a lathe I'm sure you could turn one up. gradually heat the head in boiling water to 90 degrees knock them out.

  9. could i suggest you try to diagnose the problem with a test light first before hitting the starter with a hammer. hitting the starter with a hammer could , 1 free a solenoid, 2 free short brushes, or 3 even bridge a loose connection. if it starts working you still don't know what is wrong. short the two terminals marked red put a test light to a good earth and test if there is power at the blue terminal. if there is power and the starter is not turning there is a problem with the motor. if there is no power at the blue terminal fit a solenoid kit.

  14. have you checked continuity of all the earths to the regulator also chassis/body to engine earths. I have seen a Ke30 putting 18 volts in once that was a stuffed battery. the battery will also boil dry and warp the plates anything over 14.2 volts.

  16. Yes it will convert to KM even the distance counter will be in km from then on.
  17. Made by Morey Haigh in Victoria it simply adjusts the speedo cable speed to convert the MPH to KM PH, simply screw in line and away you go.

  19. I have a few in my shed I will look for a manufacturer on the packet, the only trouble is you can wind the speedo needle all the way around until it hits zero again.
  20. You can buy converters that screw on the speedo then the cable screws onto it (in line) and turn the MPH into KM P/h.
