help! ok, its all in....except the fual cap door thingy how the what the huh??? pics anyone?? someone with a csx, and a camera please take pics of the catch that opens the fuel cap (from the inside of the fuel cap) i have my lock there, do i need to take my lock out? i don't understand how the lil pullrod thingy makes it open.. Help please.

yeah, pic would be awesome. as much as that made sense, I need a lil bit of streamlining to make it a faster job. I've had the entire inteior our before myself, but never looked at the place where the lever goes. does the lever assembly (not the levers themselves) go under the body? I can't see how u would hide all that metal under the carpet... I know i gotta drill the fuel cap funnel for the release catch. - that part is worked out. also.... anyone got some old 13" steelies for sale that look a lil better than my crappy ones?

yay i got the whole boot and fuel cap release leaver and cable setup for $33 from city dismantlers (i devoured the ONLY KE70 CSX they had ) hehe now, i have a question, and a favour to ask, how do i mount the levers in the floor? anyone out there with a csx that can take close up photo of how the lever setup fits to the body of the car? like does it go in from underneath, or in from the top? or what? i'm very confused atm..

let me get this right.... u have a yellow car, and a black boot?? do u still have the templates from when u made ur boot really good lookin? i feel like going to look for some carpet offcuts. i need some dimentions tho

still, its gonna cost too mcuh for the cable. surely, theres someone out there with one

for f@$ks sake, my car is falling apart. i thought i fixed everything in the boot that rattles. and now its almost as bad as when i started :) something is rattlling , and i don't know what. whats the best way to silence a boot? i'm getting to the stage of taking it off, and getting it covered in resin or something strange. i also need to find some offcuts from a carpet place, and put some carpet back in my boot :D

i can get one from a wrecker, for $25 :D hence why i asked if anyone has one... and yes, i have bikes - i race downhill, and i run hydraulics. :)

yes, i was aiming for neutral (downhill, and i was trying to save petty , cos it was running on like he last litre or something) and i missed, it went up to reverse instead, and yeah.,.. the car's tank surged around the left corner :P

i've done similar. except i've hit it into reverse while doing around 50km/h i went for neutral, but hit it too far... (shitty auto) car just jumped for half a second, then bumped itself into neutral and i rolled and the engine stalled. turned the key while still rolling at about 40km/h, and slammed it into second , for a slide around a left corner (in the wet) never again.... :P

sweet! i''m SOOOOO doing that with an old style bucket seat..... might need to re-inforce the gas lifter tho :P

i'm a tall, skinny bloke, and i drive with my seat as far backj as it goes, and 1 notch past standard incline. - its too high, and its weird :P

can someone please take a photo of a boot release cable in a ke70 (CSX), i need to know where to route the cable. cheers

sure thing, and buying new seats, AND getting some1 to f@$k with them is going to be cheaper than some average seats from the wreckers, and a lil weld here and there? hmms :) might just put some bricks on the seats for a month, and let them sink some shape into them instead.... :P

are the csx ones lower and hold ur arse / body / hips in better? i have awesome seat covers already, so appearance means shit all to me. i keep falling out of my seat, and hitting my head on the roof :P
