where do i go to get "midway blue" for my ke70 repairs? i mean, are there places that actually stock the old paint? or will i have to fork out endless $$$ to get some mixed up? and who is in adelaide and has done paint / body repairs before, and wants to give me a hand with some dents and painting... ???

just got the car back from the mechanic. "something hit the tailshaft, and you might have a dented rim, but thats all, she's all good" :lock: just gotta get some paint n panel and insurance sorted out. will post some pics later, when i get them off my mate's camera fone.

i'm alright, just a few bruises here and there. police came for a quick check that i was ok, and left for an emergency call i'm just glad the car isnt in the river. bloody hell. gotta wait for the mechanic to check over my car before i can drive it home. *twiddles thumbs

good, cos i live close to country towns, and i'm sick of getting faces / fingers at me for actually doing the speed limit. glad to know that people out there DO care if they hit lil jonny while he crosses the road to get his icecream from ned's general store. :lock: i will be driving very slowly around the hills now, after my accident tonight, made me very paranoid. :((

Yes thats right boys and girls. The beauty of a KE70 almost went swimming in the torrens river tonight. Over the embankment, almost rolled, and stopped only 2.5 metres from the edge of the river. why? cos of a drunk driver on my side of the road. I swerved to miss them, and hit some gravel, and slid about 10 metres or more down the steep grassy, rock and tree filled bank, and yeah... I have minor concussion, and the car is suprisingly ok for where it landed. I mean, i have never seen a car basically slide down a cliff, and only get a few scratches and dents. Will post pics 2morra when i take them at the mechanics. Only just finished getting the car lifted and winched out of the riverbanks, and back onto the road. God love 6L V8 towtrucks and some nice guy. seriously. Anyways, now that i am lucky to be alive, i think i'll have a shower and get some sleep before the interview with the police 2morra morning. Nite.

who here actually slows down for small country / hills towns? like would u do 60-75 in the 50 zone because u can't be bothered to slow down more from doing 80 or 100? i'm not starting arguments, just asking who actually slows to 50kmh for a few hundred metres.

i hit a fence in the hills. stupid wet weather. to be more specific, it was my own fault. did a *180* around a banked corner, and slid down into a star-dropper. i meant a 180, 360 is all the way round, lol. i was turning around cos i missed a turn, and did the u-turn a lil too quick for wet weather... :greenbounce: minor damage, but some panel beating of the front left lower guard and the parker light needs replacing. GAY! wont post pics before my dad gets home and sees it :doublebird:

will someone please explain to me what size rims fit on a ke70? i don't want any modding, just some new looking rims / lower profile tyres, i'm sick of the whole tractor look. i'm after some white or black 5 spokes or something, i hate chrome :D

i can't find anyone with one i saw one at the lights the other day, but i didnt get a chance to get out my car, ask them, look at it, and get back in before my lights went green :D
