  1. Hi guys, So Bowler and I were lamenting that it had been a while since we'd had a cruise, in fact it has almost been a year (GOR doesn't count btw) so we were thinking it might be an idea to do the same cruise we did last year, only a year later. Here was the basic itinerary as outlined by Bowler before: Where (meetup): McDonalds, Diamond creek (Station St, Diamond Creek) Time: 10 for 11 (Sharp) departure Regroup in Kinglake Stop in Toolangi - to sort out ourselves lunch in Healesville at the Grand Hotel Rest stop in Marysville Rest Stop at Yarra Reservoir Rest Stop in Warburton Finish at Lilydale Lake - Photo Op Just wanted to gauge interest and suss out dates suitable for everyone. Discuss. EDIT: 1) Soyboy 2) Bowler 3) BKS. 4) Colonel 5) 78_7kRolla 6) The overrated KE70 7) Never 8) TE278U 9) Paul 10) Ch1ka 11)Jaderd 12) Muzke30 13) Sportivo Mikey 14) Matt_99 15)Waz 16) KEhendo 17) Kozmo 18) Colli Tate (30%) and Evan_G (60%) we'll put down as 90% of a person???
  2. could that be because potatoes are vegetables? really depends on what your family and friends regularly eat/cook. If you don't want something too fancy schmancy, but something that's not going to be 'westie' as your wife (sorry, wife to be) puts it then you should go for chicken (kiev?!) or beef (Steak!) cos they're pretty safe bets, and yeh, the 50/50 menu usually works well because then people can swap, and then just serve the vegos different meals especially... also depends on when the wedding is, whether it's winter or summer will probably help you decide whether you want lamb shanks on mash or roast chicken and salad...
  3. looks freakin' sweeeeet.

VICTORY CRUISE DETAILS: 12pm Sunday 5th April meet at Box Hill Gardens for a BBQ then head over to Box Hill Indoor (9 Clarice Rd) for a social game (we've got a 3.40pm slot) Some of the boys have futsal on later that night (8pm?) so probably head over there later to cheer them on. There's $20 in the kitty from the season, so that should be enough for bread and onion and maybe a couple kilos of snags. I really don't think we're going to bother with those gross cheese rissoles this time haha... So BYO beverages and anything else you want BBQ'D. All welcome to come, hope to see you there!

haha don't worry about that, it just makes your victory at the end of season all the more glorious. We lost our first game like 16-2 or something.

Yeh that was us! We had our grand final last night (which we won 6-4 or something :) ) Thanks to Matt, Kim, Andy and Dave for playing with us throughout the season, and also the various other fill ins we've had, couldn't have made it without you. how'd you go in the cricket? we're thinking of relocating to Vermont South cos it's cheaper. There's talk of a bbq/cruise Sunday week (5th?) so you should come along Sam, details to follow eventually...
  18. how much it end up costing? do you have pics? my drivers seat is turning to shreds

  22. try checking it at night with a light around the rubber seals? the boot in my ke30 was leaking too and i couldn't find it so i ran water near the seals and along the sides but in the end a torch is what did the trick for me. good luck
  23. Hi Pete, welcome to rollaclub! Nice find! good luck with installing the speakers, hope to see you on a cruise sometime soon Sonya
  24. thanks for all your comments. in the end i took it to the locksmith rather than fooling around with spares and keys and what not the damage was repairable so they didn't even need to order in new parts. The thieves had broken off a pair of scissors and the locksmith just took that out and rebuilt the barrel. Cost $180 so not too bad i guess.

lol @ pre-yellow. that's silly. a warning before a warning. Reminds me of primary school how we'd get a red crosses, and if you got five you got a red card and detention (as if getting one red cross wasn't devastating enough for a kindergarten kid haha)
